It's a small black box, with what appears to be a trumpet attached to it. After a little looking around it's clear that you've found some type of speaker, no doubt the rest of the machine is to produce sound. However, why a creepy man with a mask would be placing speakers on buildings is a mystery.
"Now now, no barking." Tsukune reached down, and picked up the rowdy wolf. He'd carry her to her room. The less time she spent out here, the better.

The man simply jumped up to a roof, moving with inhuman strength. He then carefully looked around the city. Moving to a nearby roof, he took out an odd machine, and attached it to the wall. Jumping to the next building, he continued to place these devices, seemingly never noticing Moonbeam.
As Aki steps through the portal, he's hit by a blast of lightning from the sky, his nervous system going crazy, as he's driven to the floor half-dead.
He kind of grabbed you, and tried to save you from punishment. My post is one page back, please read it. It would be rather odd if you simply turned and left.

In the city of Hope, she could see a variety of portals, of many sizes. They'd been carefully marked, and people avoided them. It used to be that each of the portal areas would get struck by lightning multiple times a day, as Captain Awesome struck down supposed invaders. With the help of a mysterious woman, he'd managed to convince the government of Hope to give him full permission to kill anything coming out of the portals. Numberous criminals had already been detected and apprehended through these mysterious portals. However, in this alleyway, Moonbeam sees a man in a black coat walk through the portal. He looks up for a second. He hasn't seen her. No lightning. Nothing. The man wears a silver mask, expressionless, and a long black trenchcoat. A small badge hangs on his chest with a single red blood drop. He doesn't move an inch without reason, and something in teh way he walks is.... inhuman. Simply being near this person, you feel an odd desire to flee.
