Oh! That's a really good idea, I'll add it right away.

Nice to hear it. The IC is up, feel free to join at any time ^^
People seem to be leading with massively long post, but this is a Free Roleplay, so feel Free to post slightly less wall-of-text posts (=
"I imagine you will have to visit many governments. However, first, to put up a show. To complete my conquest, you see, For after this day, the world is mine." Kami smiled, as she gestured, and Wiper appeared. Then, everything seemed to blur, as there's a lurching feeling. You can see rock cracking, straining to hold. Kami simply chuckles, as you can feel your stomach drop. Looking out of a window, you notice that Kami invests more than you thought in looks. Kami is practically giggling with glee, her usual calmness gone in the face of her victory. You could almost imagine her bursting out into evil laughter.

((Listen to this while reading. It really helps build the mood.
))

At the other side of the gate, the Death Priests stood around a portal, as several odd-looking figures moved through large pieces of machinery. As they set it up, the portals begin flickering, the worried soldiers kept away only by Jaques constant reassurances. "Don't worry. We're simply stabilizing the way." There are cold smiles enough to go around, as several spiders can be seen latching onto the people in charge, who soon stand back and order their men to all but help in the setting up. Arcs of white lightning shoot between the vortexes. They seem to flicker and expand, flashing dangerously. The people from Hope stare in wonder up into the sky, as it's covered in more and more holes to Fear. Then, through the vortex, steps a massive steel claw, crashing down into the streetline between two buildings.
Another massive claw stamps down, the ground shaking from the impact. From the portals emerges a large, pointed front, as the whole thing lurches forward. As once more the massive legs step forward, the front of the construct becomes clear, and two more legs pass through the vortex. A massive citadel, much like a church, to which these huge legs are attached. Massive windows depict scenes of spiders in several positions of worship. The massive archs of the citadel hold up a massive tower. Four massive golden bells hang from beams at the side of this tower, and they start ringing, loud echoing gongs filling the city, as another two legs crash through the vortex. Thousands of nameless soldiers, armored in red and black, the insignia of God's tears on their chest. They move in between the legs, still moving forward, the underbelly of the mechanical beast hovering over the main square as the last two legs of the massive mechanical spider enter the world of Hope.
Unseen by the populace, billions of spiders scurry down from their breeding nest, the Citadel of Tears. The soldiers keep on pouring out, filling the city, millions of them like mindless drones. Blood priests can be seen among the crowds, navigating and aiming the masses. People are taken from all over the city, and gathered towards the main square, where soon there is a crowd of millions. Slowly, the gongs stop ringing, as the Blood Priests and soldiers all burst into chanting prayer, dropping down on their knees. A choir of voices, thousands of them, spread over the entirety of Hope, singing perfectly in sync.
The massive underbelly opens, as a platform is lowered. The choir reaches new heights, as the platform is lowered, a massive throne, upon which sits Kami. Her black dress is covered in strands of red silk and massive rubies, woven into the thread. She smiles down at the massive, her enormous throne adorned made of solid gold, covered in onyx and rubies. A thunderous crescendo reaches it's maximum point as the platform nears the ground. Wiper is standing next to Wiper on her right, on her left stands a rather surprised and embarrassed Moonbeam. Then, silence falls, Kami staring down imperiously over the amassed populace.
Slowly, Kami stands, smiling. She steps forward to the front of the throne's platform, where something like a balcony has been placed. banners are unfurled from the underbelly of the Citadel of Tears, completely black, depicting a single red blood drop. Her voice carried with all the elegance and authority of a natural-born leader, the awed people of Hope staring. Cameras have been set up all over Hope, and undoubtedly the spectacle has been broadcasted all over the world. "People of Hope. I am Kami, High Priestess of God's Tears. I have come here to grant you the blessings that I can provide you with. I shall grant you wealth, medicine, and safety. Your world is fractured and divided. And in the name of the Lord, I am here to save it."

i'm afraid matt (the gm) has turned in for the night, but i can tell you he'd most likely accept after a minor debate about the ice breath being more of a draconic trait...

You know, I don't debate about EVERYTHING.

Name: RaphionAge: 20Race: Snow ElfGender: MPersonality: Adventurous, kind, protective of friends. He is willing to give up his life to protect others.Magic: Ice Shards (shards of Ice shoot out from hand), Breath of Ice(breaths on wound it freezes for a few seconds then is healed), Ice Storm (blast of ice and freezing vapour)Skills: Hand to hand combat, Ice magic, stealthGear: Knife and Bio: Raphion was an Ice elf born after the take over. He was forced to learned Alderian as his main language. He started to learn Thronian at the age of 8 with all his friends. They all made the promise to join the resistance and end the rule of Alderia over the Seven Thrones. His friends gave up on this promise by time they were 13. However Raphion never gave up on his dream. He continued to learn Thornian on his own. Once he was 18 he left his village to find the main resistance base. After 2 years of searching he hasn't found it yet but Raphion is getting close.

Sounds cool. A good motivation that'll get him right in the thick of it in no time, a decent set of not overly powerful abilities, and a workable personality. Accepted. However, as with others, I'm going to throw in a little extra. Feel free to reject it.
I propose that the reason your friends forgot about their promise is because one of them married a noblewoman from Alderia, a human. Your friends began to socialize with the Alderian court, and became sympathetic of the humans, dismissing their earlier hatred as childish.

Name:Ryu RondsoAge: 23Race: Kumiho--The Kumiho origins are mostly unknown, but in tales it is said they came to be by foxes that lived over a thousand years. That is one way a Kumiho is born, another is as an offspring of Kumihos. They are best known for Kumiho shifting into beautiful women to seduce men before devouring their liver or heart. Kumiho are a mainly solitary race, they may live in very small villages or families which are rare. But there are groups who are known to band to together to lure more human flesh to eat. In most common cases, a Kumiho will only care for it's young until it can hunt for itself. After that they will most like separate. They do not have a culture where they value friendship or love, most of their values are placed on being clever and surviving. They are not a very common race to see because of their small numbers, they are mostly told in exaggerated tales to scare young children. They are not liked by other races and will probably be attacked by other races if their identity were found out.Kumiho are capable of shifting from a fox to human, even other small woodland creatures. However being in any other form then a human or fox does put a strain on them. They would not be able to keep another appearance long if they have not practiced rigorously. Kumiho can have tails from 1-9, their colors vary. In human form they can influence their appearance a little bit. However they can not hide somethings in human form a fox-like face, set of ears, and their tail(s). Most of the Kumiho in human form are beautiful and feminine, it is uncommon for them to have anything but long hair. But there are varied appearances. They do have an affinity with illusion magic, but often lack the resources to learn it properly to expand their power. A long time ago they were a large group and were feared by many people because of their trickery. But when stories of them spread further and their killings became more common, hunting parties were formed. They would be murdered on sight, anyone with a set of ears or a particularly fox-like face would most likely be murdered. Even foxes found in the wild would be put to death if suspected of trickery. They eventually went into hiding and they were soon forgotten, the war did not affect them much because of how isolated they became. Gender:MalePersonality: Ryu is usually very quiet, he prefers to blend in with the crowd or the foliage. He actively avoids the spotlight and is always moving from place to place. Ryu does not like socializing much, at least not when he's trying to be sincere. He is often making snarky remarks under his breath when he thinks no one is listening. But overall he comes off as a quiet and somewhat polite boy to other people at first glance. However he is excellent at lying, and can be quite charismatic if he has a certain goal in mind (LIVER). He can be quite cunning when it comes to getting what he desires. But he tries not to indulge himself in things like that. He does not particularly enjoy murdering people, but he tries to distance himself from it and see it only as a means for survival. If cornered in a situation Ryu will become quite animalistic and savage and will do whatever it takes to stay alive.Magic: -shape-shifting-very simple illusion magicSkills:-Thievery & Pickpocketing-Agile & Quick -Hunting (only in fox form)Gear:Ryu does not carry many things with him, he is often moving and tries to be lightweight. When traveling in human form he wears non-constricting clothes. His top is long and has a hood, it is a neutral color and is baggy on him. His bottoms is just past his knees, it is worn and a dirty brown color. His shoes are dark boots that are for walking long distances. Ryu has a small steel dagger with a leather sheath attached to the back of his pants.Bio:Ryu was born in woodland, his mother taught him how to hunt as a fox. They lived there for a while, before his mother introduced him to human liver. They infiltrated a small human village as humans, and Ryu learned the ropes from there. But when villagers started going missing Ryu and his mother were the first suspects. Of course his mother was not new to this and was ready to leave. But Ryu had already made human friends and he insisted they stayed for a little while. But that very night his mother was caught in the act of murdering a housewife for her liver. The villagers wanted revenge, and Ryu's mother died at their hands. After that they came for Ryu and he barely escaped with his life. For a long time he avoided humans and all other races. Ryu visited cemeteries, eating the liver or hearts of the newly deceased or he resided in forests. But he never really stayed in one area for long. He slowly grew more comfortable as disguising himself as a human, stealing clothes and pickpocketing people from the street. At first it was often he got caught he had to run away, and often times he didn't really get something good. But over time he learned how to do it better, and became an expert at thievery. While traveling to another city, he came across a small isolated village of Kumihos. At first they hostile but they grew relaxed when they realized they were of the same race. There he heard tales and a bit more of his culture. But one thing interested him the most, he heard of a tale that said a Kumiho could permanently become human if they did not kill or taste meat for a thousand days. There was one more occurrence in his life that stood out. He had grown more confident with blending in and decided to go on a heist of some sorts. He had heard of a very rich human family of a royal bloodline. Ryu decided to slip in as a servant, and bid his time. Over the months, he stole things form the household so he could pawn it off for extra gold. When the family grew to trust him, Ryu decided it was time. His hunger had grown enormously, and he attacked the son of the household. The mother caught him just after he finished eating the son's liver. Another narrow escape, but it did not leave him without scars. From then on he kept further distance from other beings, only interacting when he had to. Misc:None--Dang, sorry this took so long! I seemed to get sidetracked every time I tried to write this out. Is this alright? Or anything you want to add?

The character is fine. The problem, as with most characters created in such a way, that there's absolutely no reason for him to become involved with the story. As such, I'm going to make my own addition. When you killed Lord Radel's firsborn, he got rather pissed at you. Swearing revenge, he devoted his entire life to the hunting down and murder of your race. For the first time in more than five hundred years, hunting parties search the villages for people with ears or tails. Wild foxes are slaughtered in the forests, and they're gradually growing closer to the village of Kuniho, which has up until now managed to live in relative peace. Through your act, you've doomed your own people, and Lord Rader is after you most of all. He's posted pictures of your face in half the villages in the Alderian Alliance, and forced you to flee to the Seven Thrones to avoid being brutally murdered by angry peasants.

fine. then it was a lone madoka before she became a magical girl... which is the only possibility for the fight since she literally became the embodiment of hope and left the physical plane...

That was the final timeline, however before that there were countless versions of Madoka, each of which was incredibly powerful.

good point... but how will you do it without taking your entire leg?...

Incredibly carefully...... Also, legs can be replaced.
Lol. Good luck. First post is always the hardest.
