Blood Compact, Revamped(Yay bad puns!)

A vampire who works for SOLDIER. He was turned in 982. He is 2,18 meters tall, and built like a piledriver.



A sword supposedly created for the sole purpose of killing vampires. The shape turns it into a giant crucifix, the edge is made of treated clay, making it incredibly sharp. It can cut through steel like it's butter, and does even more easily with bone and flesh. In the center runs a single streak of treated mahogany, completely covered and shut out from all other influences in order to preserve it. This allows it to kill vampires by functioning as a stake. Lastly, the blade has a built-in tracker, which allows Johnathan to retrieve it if it is ever lost.


A modified powerful smoke machine, built for military purposes. It fires a fine mist of Holy Water, which burns vampires. It has a range of over 8 meters at it's longest setting, and can be connected to tanks of Holy Vapour (as Johnathan likes to call it) in order to extend it's duration, or refill it. After being filled fully, it can be used on constant spray for about twenty minutes. If necessary, the range can be reduced in order to create a wider spread, the controls automatically changing nozzle size. Johnathan usually keeps it in a holster at his hip, ready for use.

A large van, as the name suggests, which has been modified by Johnathan to serve as his mobile base. It's covered in heavy steel plates, the windows made of bulletproof glass, and it's all covered in crucifixes to keep off vampires. The back area contains a powerful smoke machine, which can cover entire areas in holy Vapour in a maneuver called a Purge, killing all vampires too stupid to GTFO. It constantly plays orchestral music, which heralds Johnathan's coming like a siren for a policeman, more often than not sending vampires fleeing. It contains several firing slits that Johnathan can shoot out of, and bulletproof tires, as well as containing a variety of spare ammo, food, weapons and armor. It's the perfect mobile anti-vampire base.

A shotgun with hollow-point bullets, aimed to deal large amounts of damage to body-parts. It can blow off a head at short range, and is great at slowing down advancing vampires. Even if it doesn't kill them, vampires still need legs to walk. It's attached to the right arm of Johnathan's armor, which allows him to fairly easily fire it without need to draw it and making it hard to see. It's usually used when a vampire pushes Johnathan to the ground, and has a hell of a recoil.

Johnathan is an extremist and a psychopath. When he turned, he killed many men, and it drove him a little bit insane. He joined church after church, seeking some form of redemption, although no amount of praying could erase the image of his men, screaming as he tore out their necks. He's become obsessed with killing other vampires, going to extremes even before the Blood Compact was broken to hunt down and kill vampires in their nests, ripping through anyone in his way using modern technology to his advantage to defeat older vampires. Recently, he gained support from SOLDIER after they noticed how skilled he is at murdering his kin, and they've gained his trust to such an extent that he will take orders. However, he remains a loose cannon, ready to snap at any moment.

If he was sent back in time because he was here before, then the only reason he was sent is because he was sent. The action causes itself to take place. If he hadn't been sent, he wouldn't have been sent. This, once more, causes a paradox, and destroys the universe. Or causes time to crack. I dunno. Whatever is most amusing and opens the most amusing path for the roleplay to take, I guess.
Personally, I like the second theory the most. We've already discussed what future he comes from, but because of his actions that very same future can be avoided, which would be rather amusing. If this future can NOT be avoided, then this entire fight has no point to it whatsoever because we all know Kami will win. As such, I vastly prefer a model in which the future is not set in stone. Rather, knowledge or interference from the future can cause that very same future to change.

However, before such thoughts can be put to the test, he is stranded, leaving the energy stream. He finds himself in a massive arching hall, reaching up beyond sight. Covering the walls are corpses, hanging from an array of spikes, arranged like some sort of art, still faintly moving despite their fatal wounds. There's a single door, completely black, from behind which you can sense the power of the God. By the door stands a man with an Oni mask, smiling, blood running down his porcelain cheeks.
