As Magnus smashed into Johnathan, he wrapped both arms around the enemy vampire. Finally, he'd gotten close enough for more than a failed strike back. He clamped Magnus to his chest, letting the crucifixes burn into him while giving insufficient leverage for a solid strike with the claws. It was a delay tactic, but that was all Johnathan needed, as he could already hear the SOLDIERs approaching, and this fight would soon end. He held Magnus with all his strength, giving the Oldblood no chance to overpower him, and he started chanting. This day, he would end the battle.
