Ooh, interesting. that might make them warmblooded. but wouldn't anything based on ultraviolet light be related to the weakness to sunlight? something they also don't have in this setting?Wait does that mean they have a heartbeat? If that where the case how would magnus even be up and running?Anyways another tactic would be to have her take x-ray shots and check for teeth, It'd give you some info on some weak spots as well.I'd like to say she could use the holy mist and target everyone who cringes in pain, but holy vapor was Johnathan's idea and its been stated jack hadn't thought of that yet. I can imagine it being in the next prototype though.

Yeah, you're right, ultraviolet is out. And yeah, I think they are warmblooded. However, it's also been established that vampires don't breahe. So maybe vampiric cells simply duplicate incredibly rapidly, and are able to transport oxygen directly. It would be interesting to see....
Well the thing is that they're alive. Technically speaking. The bodies of vampires regenerate in this world, unlike with the typical vampire, and dead cells cannot multiply. This means that, at least on a cellular level, vampires are alive.
Favnir is greeted into the camp with the usual mix of friendliness and distrust. There were some elves who made a point of turning away when the large dragon came near, although he was officially a member of the resistance. There was a faction that believed that as Favnir was not an elf, he should not be a part of the Resistance. However, a far more practical group, including Lurias, was quite happy to have the massive flying monster on their side as opposed to any other side. Dragons are a great weapons simply because of the legends that surround them, and even the most hardened warrior may flee in the face of their fury.
As Favnir and Raphion approach the center of the camp, Lurias can be seen in the ornate armor he reserves for meetings with the dragon. He's surrounded on both sides by guards. An honorary guard, as their spears would most likely break if ever used in actual combat instead of just sitting there and looking pretty, but then again in this camp no real guard was needed for Lurias's safety. As Favnir approaches, Lurias can be seen going through the usual greetings, beginning by starting to enquire about Raphion's presence. However, as his eyes rest on Raphion's forehead, he freezes, and his eyes widen. His hands instinctively grip his sword hilt, and it becomes clear from the shine that this blade is quite practical, and Lurias is trained to use it.
After a tense moment of silence, Lurias realizes the threatening pose he's taken, and releases the weapon without drawing it. He walks towards Raphion with an urgency in his step as he quite rudely grabs the elf, inspecting the mark on his forehead. "Shira's Staff, it's real." He steps back, staring at you in disbelief. "Tell me, how did you come by this mark. You must have seen her, then, if you carry the mark." He paces, obviously agitated, too impatient even to wait for an answer.

In the forest, Ryu spots a small mark. It's not particularly noticeable, and one might easily pass this area a hundred times without spotting it. However, Ryu had been trained since birth to spot marks like this very one. It's a small pawmark, embedded in the tree. It means there's a village nearby. However, if this is the case, then they're all in danger. Lord Allen will undoubtedly have heard of the massacre that occured in the town, and he'd be searching the area. Even such a secretive race cannot hide forever, and Lord Allen has hired several very skilled hunters to track down your kind.
You know, I think me stating I'm similar to my character would be rather creepy, as Jack is a psychotic killer as well as batshit insane. Instead, I'm just going to propose we eat macaroni with ham and cheese.
That reminds me, Shikaru, have you sent a message to Foxfire? It seems like she doesn't know that the rp was revamped.

Hey guys, I just wanted you to know that I will be having to drop this RP. Life is busy as always and I just don't have the time. :( Bye guys...

Well, thanks for actually telling us at least (=
Way too many people simply leave without a word. It's nice to know the reason you're leaving, as well as being aware of your decision to leave.

@thewizardguyGlorius fuck i did not see that coming, with the music and everything? awesome

Thank you ^^
I usually go with epic orchestral numbers, with choirs and everything, but this seemed oddly appropriate.

Wouldn't lambda exterminate vampires on SOLDIER side too? 0.0

Well......... yes. But Jack'll just say it was a 'faulty program' or something. It can instantly tell if someone's a vampire or not, BTW. I'm thinking of doing this through ultraviolet, as regenerative cells would undoubtedly produce more radiation.

Would it be alright if Magnus made it out of the explosion though severely injured considering he wasn't in direct contact with the grenades and had a few seconds to get slightly away from the explosion? Or is he vampire toast? Lol

I have no idea. You're the GM, remember? I'm supposed to be asking you questions like this ^^
Vengeous looks over to you. "The lives of my comrades are not my own." He walks towards you, and looks you in the eye. Or, at least, the sensor at the front of your head. "I do not choose what they devote their lives to. Each of us already knows we'll probably lose, robot. We're fighting the emperor of an entire world, the most dangerous woman ever to walk the Earth." He smiles faintly, as he turns away, moving towards the broken window. "But if we're not going to fight this war, who will? If we pull back now, Kami will take the things we love away from us. I fight for vengeance, but those who fight with me fight for the things they have not yet lost. Even if every one of us is doomed to die, do not insult us by presuming we would place our lives above what we're fightnign for." With these parting words, Jaque jumped out of the window once more, crashing into the mass of soldiers below.

Kami looked up at Aki, and smiled. What a cute little idea, a one on one battle to determine the end result of a war. How heroic. Well, she really couldn't let that go, now could she? She sent a thought, and the cameras stopped recording. She would hate to be embarrassed in front of the entire world. "Now that's a great idea. Let's see. I choose her as my champion." Kami points at one of the civilians, and at once a nearby soldier shoots the poor woman in the head. "Oh, what a shame. It looks like I've lost." Kami smiles widely, as four Death Priests move to the front of the fray. One among them was Chrono, former Keeper of Hours, the incarnation of an age-old spirit. Right now, that spirit was trapped within the mind of a broken man, bound by Kami, forced to exert it's powers for her. "My dear, you seem to have this silly idea that I'm a just and honorable person. I'd happily see you fight Wiper, but I'd continue regardless of the outcome." With this, the four Death Priests start moving towards the tower rapidly, each using a different method of transportation.
