Although he can kee the lava at bay, it won't move back. It's moving in blocks, and can't be removed. Minecraft physics.

The Lava moves around rubick thanks to his telekinesis and he supercharges his null field causing the magic tht brought the dispensers there to be undone and despawn them. Rubick then laughs as he waits for Jebb to make another move.

*Although Rubick weakens Jebb's ability to spawn things, the dispensers are solid, and not magical projections, and thus are not undone. You're put under pressure, as Jebb is nowhere to be seen, and your shield won't hold forever.*

When Jebb plunges his sword down Rubick teleports out of the way and sends an energy burst though the sword, focusing it and causing it to become a laser that takes off Jebb's head if he does not dodge.

*Jebb screams as he's pushed back glowing red, and although there are no visible wounds, you can see his health has gone down*
Jebb: Good. Surprising dodge. However, with those wounds, you won't last much longer.
*Jebb smiles, as he holds out his hand, and the sky goes dark. You notice the entire arena is covered in dispensers, and the ground under your feet as well*
Jebb: Leaving the arena is not permitted, and is an automatic forfeit. However, you will not die. Take this chance, and escape.
