"Hmmm. I perhaps have inherited my father's sense of theatrics." Solus lifts Beatrice off the ground, and smiles at her, before tapping her on the forehead. Instantly, they were in an area filled with stars floating around them, standing on what appeared to be space. "Now, I believe it is best if we discuss things, don't you? You wish to keep on existing, but you need people to acknowledge you for that. I can make people think anything I want them to think. I believe you have need of my assistance?"

As Beatrice drops off into a trance-like state, communicating unknowingly telepathically, Solus turns to Roxas. "Ah, you're still alive. Could you please explain this? I just saw you stab this man in the shoulder. I shall not let you harm this woman as well, if that is what you're trying." Solus, while not as skilled an actor as Stein, made up for it by implanting a perception into Roxas' mind, making him seen trustworthy and just.

Yeah, Solus is badass. You should meet his girlfriend. She's Bob's daughter.
The massive hovercraft Terebithia floated over Kilo Point at an altitude of ten meters, creating a massive metal roof above the fortress. The powerful humming of the massive antigrav engines fills the area, large glowing blue circles on the steel bottom the only indication of their existence. In between the engines one can see large hatches, from which gun nests and drones would be released in a combat situation, should the opponent manage to get below the battle station. At the side, Terebithia was armed with four missile stations, and a fully armored outside, capable of taking sustained artillery fire. The multiple layers of armor contain large movable sections through which the missiles can be fired, as well as thousands of small firing holes that can be opened and shut. There were pipes that served no obvious purpose, opening up into the air, and undoubtedly Jack's battleship had a few hidden weapons. This was one of SOLDIER's greatest fortresses, standing undefeated.
Jack smiles, as he observes the screens playing out a variety of data. He'd exposed his test subjects to a variety of chemicals, testing them often. He'd done this often, of course, and his human test subjects usually died. Compared to vampires, humans are quite fragile, and thus were more often the victim of Jack's research than their vampire counterparts. He needed humans to compare, naturally, and SOLDIER had given him a steady supply of war criminals and failed recruits to use in testing. And, as it was him leading this department, test had flourished, throwing off many fruits.
However, Jack was missing something. Something he had wished for many years. He wished to experiment with the cells of the oldest known vampire, Gabriel, a figure draped in more myths than Micheal Jackson and Elvis Pressley combined. This was what had drawn the mad scientist to this place. And, as Jack waited for the local commanders to report to his office, he thought to himself of how he would gain those beautiful, beautiful cells.

Sounds like a plan to me.

Unicron frowned. This god was powerful. Unicron surrounded himself with a field of dark energy, a literal force-field of chaos. Not that it would matter much in this fight. It seemed it was headed to which god had a stronger will.

Bob smiled, as Unicron descended through the portal. The more of Unicron passes through it, the more the ancient God feels Bob's power entering him. Whatever is on the other side of that portal is Bob's realm, and you can sense untold billions of souls awaiting him within it. With such a power source, Bob would be able to regain energy next to instantly, and be unbeatable in a battle of magic. Bob laughs, as Unicron is drawn to the Theater, where he would be reduced to nothing more than a puppet, dancing for Bob's pleasure.
Solus carefully touches Hazama's and Roxas' heads from behind, both at the same time. Each suddenly spots their enemy, right next to them, and each is driven impulsively to attack. By the time this momentary illusion has passed, Hazama is impaled on Roxas' blade, stabbed through his shoulder, and Roxas has been launched through the nearby trees into a small crater caused by his crash landing. Neither side could have blocked, as they never saw the other's attacks. As both Hazama and Roxas are put out of battle, Solus neatly walks forwards, and extends a hand to Beatrice, appearing with his usual inhuman beauty, wearing a black, well-made suit.
"My dear, I believe these fools might be slightly below your company. Obviously you need no further help, being a capable witch on your own, but allow me to accompany you. I would love to be your companion, at least until you find someone more suitable?" Solus' smile makes his sarcasm all the more impressive, and gives the general tones of both mockery and a small degree of flattery, artfully woven. Solus was no fool, to be manipulated like a toy. No, that was his role. The destruction of the two others had proven him to be strong, and prevent Beatrice from thinking she could take advantage of him. This would be a most interesting journey.

Well he just got permabanned

Yeah, even Stein can't do anything against that. If he'd gotten close, maybe, but nope.

I'm just gonna say now: that wont happen.

`Not if you don't do anything stupid. Bob can't take a soul unless the person gives it willingly. If you despair and surrender, that counts. If you sign any contract for your soul, that counts. If he gets you to say something stupid, that counts. Few can nullify the Soul Contract created by Bob, and even then the backlash can kill those involved.

I did not know that was possible. I the only ceramic blades I knew of were no larger than kitchen knives and needed to be handled with care. That would make no sense. I figured "Well he's an extremely experienced combatant so he can compensate for it's brittleness by being carefull with it." But this explanation is much better. That reminds me.How does the stake work anyways? does it matter that the stake never makes contact with the heart of the vamp your staking with it? What makes a stake effective anyways? why wouldn't a regular lead pipe work when lodged into the heart?

Yeah, it's pretty much the best material for weapons you could wish for. If you drop a piece of paper on the edge of a ceramic blade, the paper is cut in half. With the strength of a vampire behind it, that thing can slice through armored steel like butter.

A stake works, originally, because of the mythical properties of wood. The wooden stake is symbolic of the natural order, and the heart is symbolic of life, or, in this case, their unnatural existence. However, this is all magical bullshit. We could say that vampires are killed by any blow to the heart or brain. They're simply humans with the ability to regenerate.
