Hmmm...... now I'm curious. Be back in a sec, I'm looking this up.

Just looked it up. The first mission in HOTS is called Lab Rat. Kerrigan commands a small group of zerg to break out of a facility, after which she can reconnect to the Hive.

(( no i didn't... all i knew was that it was your biggest gun >.> so anyway, i changed it so that your odin was entirely destroyed, leaving you heading towards the planet you were orbiting... just ignore me breaking logic and roll with it... i'll think up a way to do it without destroying the entire universe and edit it in later...))

((Alright. However, ;later I'm going to want an explanation of just what our char's motives and powers are.))
I shout out as the launch of Anti-Tyki is interupted, as I'm sent plumetting towards the planet I'm orbiting. Odin, my greatest weapon, reduced to nothing. However, the command center, and thus the Plot Hole Reactor, is still intact. I work my way around the area, quickly programming the remaining transmitters to form a makeshift force field as I draw ever closer to the planet. A few remaining repair drones fly around, aiding me in this, as the area is modified. With limited time and resources, there's little i can do, but perhaps, if I-
My vision's blurry. The base must have been hit by a piece of debris before I could finish the field. I look around, my head bursting. There's blood, and I feel weak. I can't move my left arm, and I realize it's hopelessly shattered, pieces of bone sticking through the flesh in multiple places. I drop to the floor, gagging weakly. As I return more fully from my short coma, the pain comes flooding in, and I drop to the floor. The agony is overwhelming. I can barely move due to blood loss barely think because of the pain.
For a moment, I simply burn with anger at the bastard who'd destroyed Odin and sent me tumbling down here. I hold on to that anger. It can't take the pain away, but it can help me clear my head, wielded like a red hot poker to get me started. I work my way over to the medical area, where I'm able to find an adrenaline shot. I take it, and it gives me the energy I need to keep going. Using a laser saw, I remove my now useless right arm, the wound brunt off immediately, and I take nanites that would regenerate my blood, making up for the blood loss. Hopefully, that would be enough.

the first mission had her control them by psionically linking with the hive.... it's the one where she was in a sealed test chamber....

Hmmm...... now I'm curious. Be back in a sec, I'm looking this up.

i'm calling them the zerg because tiny said i could keep mine :3 and since their special in any way then they're special in my way (no joke on my mental state please) and besides, the prime zerg were capable of evolving by eating their enemies... mine are just capable of doing the same without eating their enemies (they need biomass to fuel it but you get my point)

The prime zerg still needed reproduction in order to apply these changes.

....He did bring up good points though......so, as you say.....he sees though your bullshit?

It's a skill you're going to have to work up, young padawan. I'm surprised you didn't question it hen he used the Zerg, who can't even destroy a planet, to defeat Darkside, the master of the force, who can shatter stars with ease.

then why did she have to forma a psionic link with the zerg in the first HotS mission in order to control it?

She didn't. She had to become the alpha, which required her to defeat the other swarm. The zerg are a hive mind, which will join any 'queen' that can control them, Kerrigan was bullyng them into becoming a part of her army.

matt... how about we just agree that my zerg can do this shit because they're MY zerg.... good? good.....

If you're not going to use the rules the Zerg abide by, don't call them Zerg. Furthermore, the ability to instantly adapt to nullify powers as great as Darkside is ridiculously overpowered.

Hey Kishin. Welcome to shitstorm-land. The weather is rainy, with a chance of shitstorm.

while we're on the subject of plot holes in the sc2 universe. if that was so then why did they need kerrigan to be highly psychicly gifted in order to convert her?

They didn't. Kerrigan was converted because the Overmind wanted to use the pschic powers Kerrigan possessed as a weapon. It could adapt to the guns and blades, but it wanted to use Kerrigan to develop a way to defeat it's ancient enemy, the Protoss.
