I suppose they could *let* the current government keep running itself, but technically, without SOLDIER there to protect them, the vampires could just kill anyone they wanted. So I guess, yes, the USA is now Magnus' kingdom. We probably shouldn't get too technical.

I actually kind of like the idea of Magnus having used his army of vampires to have taken over the USA, slaughtering the government. It ould be a huge statement to other governments throughout the world, and could start a whole bunch of political intrigue.

Mia turns to Glgamesh, and smiles as his power is rapidly drained to that of a normal human upon entering Pandora's Box. The mix of machinery and magic drained all magical energy in the room not specifically marked as to not be drained, and Mia bore such a mark, although she would never reveal it. While Babylon's Gate was still a part of Gilgamesh, he could not manifest it in the real world. Had he not had a physical body, he would have evaporated, losing the power to manifest himself. Mia giggles as the King of Heroes walks into the place willingly. "Looks like you don't know what you're doing. Oh well. I'll see it as a bonus!"

Gilgamesh was continuing on his way to the town, staying dematerialized as all servants of the holy grail war could do when he felt a strong presence. A strong presence, perhaps mighty enough to challenge his beloved Saber; King Arturia. It was then that the king of heroes finally decided to reveal himself to the plebians of the land, appearing in the armoury. Taking a look around even as they spoke of the source of all evil and how if Necrox died the world would be plunged into boredom, Gilgamesh let out a humph of disappointment as the powerful presence he felt did not arrive. The King of Heroes has graced them with his presence. "The elimination of all evil? The world plunging into absolute boredom? I cannot have that." the King of heroes sneered at the two commoners - no, mongrels who were in the armoury. Giving one disgusted look at Mia and Necrox, Gilgamesh spoke. "Unhand the source of my entertainment, mongrel." he sneered at Mia. He would not have the eternal source of his entertainment destroyed.

((Nobody said anything about that yet, except in Necrox's thoughts. And Gilgamesh isn't psychic. All he said is that everything would go down, and that isn't very specific. Please edit.))

Jake seems to balk at this, as he sits up. "Of course it would be poisoning, how else would a worm get inside your intestines! Look, man, check me." He walks over to Enki, arms wide. "Check me. I'm fully human, I'm a good guy. I'm the real me, the dude that's let you use his bars all hours for the last two months." his face is a genuine one, although he's still panicking, his palms sweaty. "I don't want to be questioned! Please don't torture me!" He looks like he's about to either burst into tears, run away, or do both. Not the face of a serial murderer capable of controlling evil parasite shapeshifters.
