Gilgamesh had turned from uncaring to one thing that only one other mongrel had ever pushed him to: Furious. The mongrel had struck him. The mongrel, the mad dog had dared strike the king of heroes with her accursed powers. "...you dare... you dare drag me down and make me STAND ON THE SAME GROUND YOU WALK ON?" Gilgamesh considered unleashing Ea right there and then to dismantle this little pathetic charade, but the King of Heroes calmed himself. Such an opponent; a mad dog, was unworthy of being struck by Ea. Instead, he grasp what he remembered of the situation and smiled. And he pulled out one more item from the Gate of Babylon. However, this item did not lose it's power. Oh no. Legends were a mysterious things. Although called "Weapons", they still qualified as long as they were the crystalization; the manifestation of a legendary figure. So long as that was the case, then even though Gilgamesh usually only preferred actual weapons due to the fact he could just throw them at the enemy mundane objects were also in his treasure such as a knife, a jug of wine, wine cups, or a mirror. Or a box.Pandora's box appeared from the Gate of Babylon. Unlike the box that Mia was safe from, this box was a prototype; collected by Gilgamesh when he was king of Uruk and first unleashed against his one and only friend, Enkidu. Smiling, with the box safe from the draining of Mia's Pandora's box, Gilgamesh opened his new weapon. Both boxes were designed to drain each power. Mia's Pandora's box and Gilgamesh's pandora's box instantly began their infinite cycle of draining, power transformation and more draining against each other. Both boxes were exact equals; with Gilgamesh' box being an exact prototype of Mia's own box. As a result, both boxes would completely negate each other. Even if one was inside of the other, their power outputs, draining power and all other aspects were completely equal. The two boxes were negating each other. Standing at his full height once more and no longer obstructed by the draining, Gilgamesh gave a twisted little grin. This was not a comforting, or even a psychotic grin. This was the grin of a tyrant who was about to punish a rebellious servant. With a snap of his fingers, each weapon that fell from the Gate of Babylon, shamefully stripped of their powers, began glowing as their power returned. Returning the shamed weapons to the gate, Gilgamesh pulled out three more weapons. Kusanagi, the famous Japanese sword said to turn the wind where it swings. Mjolnir, the great hammer of Thor, said to bring down lightning where it struck.Ame-no-nuboko, the spear which formed the Japanese islands in it's creation mythos. The three legendary weapons fired themselves at Mia, this time no longer obstructed by the drainage of Pandora's box.

((.............. okay, misconceptions galore. You're not in the legendary Pandora's Box. It's a massive prison for Gods which was CALLED Pandora's Box because of it's occupant, Hope. The Spiral Empire fought a hopeless war against unstoppable godlike beings called Daemon, who could not be killed by any normal power due to their nature being tied to the fabric of this universe. The Spiral Empire designed thus a weapon capable of saving thie universe from destruction, to avenge those that had been killed, a light in the seemingly infinite dark. This weapon was called Hope. To create this weapon, the Spiral Emperor, Lord Genome, had to commit a thousand evils, tantamount to murder and torture, things that would haunt him for the rest of his life. This story fits the legend quite well. Pandora's Box contains all of the world's evils, however, in the deepest depths of the box is the small, fragile voice of Hope. Thus, the prison was named Pandora's Box, after the famous greek tale. There is no other relation whatsoever between the original box and the planet-sized space station. While you might draw forth the original Pandora's Box, which would be quite frankly an empty box, perhaps with the power to contain evil beings, it wouldn't do much to the space station.))

I spend quite some effort in bending my mind into corners to simulate Martin's alien train of thought. - Me, 2013

I'm seeing how Jack would try and use this to manipulate Martin into working for him or becoming a test subject.
We could run it so that Martin is like a willing test subject to Jack because of his insanity?
Sorry for not posting in ages, my wifi exploded on me.

A few moments pass, where Mithias is doing nothing but trembling. The eerie purple light from the portal fades and it is gone. The room is empty except for Mith, Bob, and somebody named Hunger in the back corner. Oddly, quietly, Mithias starts chuckling to himself. He takes a breath and sits back on his ankles as he outright laughs in exasperation. ...maybe he did go crazy. His eyes finally find Bob, and he shakes his head in disbelief at what just happened. "He's gone..." Shaken, tears amid his smile, he opens his arms in a gesture to the Lord of Nightmares and Taker of Souls. "I live." His voice held true gratitude and some level of astonishment. Eventually, he got himself up, seemingly coming back to sanity. He glanced back to Hunger, then addressed Bob, who appeared slightly disappointed that he didn't gt to watch Mithias die. "Thank you for protecting me. I don't think I want to ever see the Godkiller again." He hesitated, but then had to ask. "Forgive me, but, did you say I might be of use to you?"

Bob chuckles as Mithias slowly starts to recover from the mental barrage Stein had launched against him. Luckily, the fellow's mind was sturdy enough to resist an attack that would fell most, most likely he had psychic resistance to such attacks. However, he'd need that, seeing as what path he was going down. As Mithias finally speaks, Bob bursts into a fit of loud, booming laughter that shakes the room, and yet somehow doesn't disturb a single table. "There are very few in this existence that would wish to see Stein, nevermind twice. Did you know he tried to destroy the concept of Good once? Drac and the rest stopped him, and I doubt it would have worked even if they hadn't, but his plan was quite frighteningly effective."
Bob became more serious as Mithias mentioned how Bob had a use for him. Of course, Bob's idea of using him was much more vague, and quite probably less horrifying, than the vampire imagined, but that was true of many things with Bob. "You heard Stein. He spoje to the Lord of Nightmares, a surprisingly kind being. We call her Lon for short. However, beings of a certain power can reach out through the fabric of time itself. See the clockworks of the endless mechanisms of time. There are a few, throughout time, who take part in adventures in between worlds that might determine the fate of all of reality. Drac, Lord of the Fallen. Tsukune, the Martyr. Stein, the God-Killer. Creed, the Dragon Slayer. Ven, the Heartless. Spirit, my beloved daughter. Tyki, emmisary of the Noa. And many more besides." He smiles brightly, splaying his hands towards you. "And, as it turns out, you're one of them."

Aight, then you must have met Martin a few times since the battle at kilo point. So the last time you saw him must have been at least a few years ago. Back then he tried to explain to Jack the following:Gabriel is his father, he gave him the potential and power. The point where developed his current vampiric self is when he almost died and spend time in the Terebithia. So it makes sense in a Martin thinking sort of way to draw the connection between the Terebithia's laboratory tubes and a mother's womb. So While Gabriel is his father, the 'logical' conclusion is that the Terebithia is his mother. And that would make Jack his grandfather.I'm not sure where I'm going with this, but I'm sure Martin has thought of this and if he did he would have shared that with Jack. Because of reasons.

That's weird.
Name: Jack Stine
Appearance: Tall and thin, short matted grey hair. A thin face with a small mouth and a pointed nose. He wears a long black lab coat, and white clothes underneath, a contrast to the usual appearance of a scientist. He's old, and his face has lines of cruelty.
Weapons: His intelligence, the Terebithia, and Ghost. That's all he needs.
Rank: Whatever he wants it to be. Currently he works for Magnus, because of Magnus's current leniency in the occasional vampire follower disappearing under mysterious circumstances. However, Terebithia and his knowledge of how vampires work make him too useful, and his power make him incredibly hard to threaten. If Jack wanted, he could easily move to any other country and be heartily accepted. As such, only very few dare assume supremacy over him.
Personality: Jack is cruel, coldhearted, and only interested in achieving results. He doesn't care for human lives or casualties, being a bit of a psychopath, but, like all psychopath's, he's a convincing actor. He's a curious soul who loves searching to the answers to mysteries, and his intelligence and lack of regard for human life have caused him to believe himself to be superior to other humans and vampires. Jack will manipulate anyone he has to and go to any lengths to achieve his goals, moving humans around like pawns and setting himself up as a chess master.

have you picked sides yet? what happened to him in the past 20 years?

He works for Magnus, as he would give Jack the most freedom.

tbh, I haven't thought about that :s

The ship could have been constructed by Russia or China as a countermeasure to Terebithia and Magnus's vampire armies, based on the plans of Terebithia which were stolen/leaked, allowing them to develop the same technology.

everyone wants an army nowadays. I think I'll stick with an entourage of maybe 8 idiots in robes or something.

Lol, I'm planning on downplaying Jack a bit.

planned to insert yuki in the rp before but there was not enough space, besides I thought a massive air battle would be awesome~but if you want, I can delete this char

Meh, fine by me, but SOLDIER can't have constructed it. Not with the damage they're taking from Magnus. The thing about a massive machine like that is Who made it, and who funded it.
