Kami turned and almost screamed as a blurry shape shot past. He shouldn't scream. Heroes don't scream. Regaining his composure, he saw some kind of psychotic woman hanging on to the villan/hero woman. For once, Kami had nothing to say. Was she the comedic relief character?

"Not so fast!" This was Kami's first real adventure, and he sure as hell wasn't going to let it just escape without a chase! He quickly rushed after her, remembering he could turn into lightning. While he almost lost her, even with his superior speed, he caught up to her when she dumped the gold. At this, he became confused. She was quite obviously a supervillain, bu those kids seemed pretty happy.....
This must be the moral climax! The ambiguity! Kami became excited again, as he realized this adventure wasn't straying from the comics at all. He was diving right into the moral grey area, and all that stuff he'd read. Now, would he join the Robin-Hood-Esque Carnage-Lookalike supervillain (kinda), or would he stand up for the middel-class people of Hope, and enforce the law to the letter? He'd have to think about this. In the meantime, he decided to settle for some idle banter, get to know one another, as supers always did in situations like this.
"Not quite the supervillain you seem, are you?" Kami smiled internally, although he did his best to look serious. That was good. He'd be spouting memorable quotes in no time, and maybe he'd get his own comic! However, thoughts of the future had to be put aside for the moment. He had a moral dillema to solve!

Kami saw his chance. A police car! It was headed to.... the Hightide Bank! A BANK RObbery!
Shouting with inner elation, Kami rushes forward, transforming into a bolt of lightning to get there nearly instantly. He arrives far before any of the police, not even breaking a sweat. Kami was sure his power was one of the most awesome in the world. After all, he could make perfect dramatic entrances!
The doorway was blocked by red webs, which excited Kami to great extents. Smiling, he tries to zap them with lightning. However, after a single flash of electricity doesn't sizzle them, he decides to simply pass through as electricity. He couldn't be bothered with tiny things like webs: He had Justice to dole out! Smiling, Kami enters the bank, hands at his side, puffing out his chest, doing his very best to look heroic in his second-hand yellow spandex

Kami stood over the city, standing atop the flat, the wind pulling at his new cape. He struck his best heroic pose, grinning at the thought of how awesome he must look. unfortunately, there was noone there to see his awesomeness, but that didn't deter the young hero. The other day, he'd scared some kids who were writing graffiti on the wall of a museum, and he'd felt proud of himself all day. But true heroes didn't stop at small acts of heroism such as that.
"With great power, comes great responsibility" Kami utters to himself, as he jumps of the building, laughing in exhileration at the rushing of the wind against his skin as he fell down to the ground. he landed safe, of course. He was a super hero, after all. And today, he felt like doing something particularly heroic, like rescuing someone from a burning building, or killing alien shapeshifters. Or maybe even fight one of the great supervillains he'd read about. Hopefully catwoman.......
Kami quickly wiped the thought from his mind. He was a hero now, and all his thoughts had to be heroic. Swiftly moving from building to building, Kami looked for something heroic to do, eagerly awaiting his chance at glory and fame.
