The basic AI concept is from HALO.

The Alpha is made in the same way as Cortana. A flashclone of the Director is made and his brain deep scanned (this kills the brain), so the Alpha is the 'same' as the Director. Although their paths then diverge. In RvB the Alpha is tortured until it's personality splits into seperate Fragments, these are the AI fragments we are talking about.

I'm not sure how cannon RvB is, but in Halo 4 there are RvB eastereggs so..

The fragmentation is RvB, the AI is all HALO.

You need to be more clear. Besides when we are talking about an alternate universe the rules of the previous do not necessarily apply.

Spoilers probably ish (RvB).

In RvB the AI each represent a part of the Alpha (the whole Ai;s) personality. As you want the AI and the Freelancer to work well together the AI were given to the Freelancers that they suited most. For example Theta who was very childlike was given to North, who was very caring ~ parently.

So in the OOC we would make ourselves an AI.

And then in the IC we would be assigned that AI, so our IC character would have no choice. Whereas OOC we made the AI for our character.

The Walking Dead - Survival: New Orleans

Name: Jason Tanner 'Twix'

Age: 20

Nationality: British

Occupation (pre-outbreak): Student

Appearance: Slightly below average height with shaggy light brown hair and well tanned skin. He wears a waterproof jacket over a faded twix shirt, dark green cargo pants and a well worn but high quality pair of walking boots. He is well muscled but not overtly muscly.

Personality: Twix can be selfish and annoying, he can be funny and generous, that depends on if he likes you or not. He is quite a flamboyant individual and always puts lots of energy into whatever he is trying to accomplish.

History: He lived a pretty normal life, had parents, went to school. Then he decided to take a break and visit the USA. It just happened to be his bad luck that the goddamn apocalypse started whilst he was over here. At first he tried to get home but as the country was overrun he soon had to give up on that possibility, he's been living with groups and alone travelling the country. He's recently arrived in New Orleans and doesn't know the layout at all, his travelling companions died en route so he walked the rest of the way alone.

Useful Skills: Free-runner => scouting. Proficient if not excellent at hunting. Decent with his fire axe <= has had a lot of practice. Half-decent shot with a pistol.
