"Focus on your riding, if it grows out here it probably grows inside the walls too, do your drawings there."
He glanced at the redhead.
"I'm Kaiz, shall we get going then?"
He waited for her response, he didn't need to be stepping on anymore toes and throwing orders at his equals might not be such a great idea.

Could go into the symbolism of a beautiful flower flourishing even amongst the bugs that would eat it and the weeds that would steal it's light and how that reflects on humanity's own survival.

The forementioned Makoto straightened in his chair and raised his hand.
"Present"

The homeroom teacher moved onto the next name and Makoto relaxed back into his chair. This was his second year at Gunryo Academy and he'd only recently got his first battlechip, he'd had a chance, or so he told himself in the first year to get one but he'd messed up, he had to do better. Class 2-C was nice enough, Makoto was one of the few people with a battlechip in the class and so he'd pretty much been allowed to pick his own seat, he'd chosen a seat near the windows a few rows from the front, enough to show he was an attentive dedicated student, whilst giving him ample opportunity to drift off in his own thoughts if he wanted.

Makoto Nagita

Name: Makoto Nagita

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Personality: (Aim for 1-2 paragraphs. I'm watching for cliches, so don't add them) Makoto can be a very serious individual, he is confident in his abilities, some might call him cocky. He is loyal to the chair. that does not mean he agrees with everything the chair does, it means he is committed to changing the system from within, to what extent he believes the system needs changing is not entirely clear, without direct orders he is often lenient with troublemakers but make no mistake what the chair says, goes.

Bio: (2-4 paragraphs here, please. I'm still watching for cliches): Makoto has lived in the slums most of his life, his parents both succumbed to what he liked to refer to as 'the follies of the slums' drugs and petty crime. They'd eventually left him and his sister alone and who knew where they were now? they could be dead, not that Makoto would spare them a grieving thought. It's been a few years since they were abandoned, and Makoto is focused on giving him and his sister a better life, they must advance in society. After much gruelling work Makoto has finally managed to get his hands on an F-level chip, this advances their place in society and is the first rung on the ladder to the top. Only time will tell how much further they will climb.

Makoto has few friends, he's too focused on advancement, how can you be friends when everyone around you is competition?

On each wrist and shin/ankle he wears (under his clothes) metal gauntlets that he uses to parry blows from edged weapons, such as knives. He has lived in the slums all his life and so a certain amount of 'self defence' skills have worked their way into him, no one survives long if they can't at least hold their own against a petty thief. Since getting his F-Level Makoto has been trying to 'formalize' his training with varying degrees of success, some things he just does wrong and it's going to take a lot of work to get rid of age old muscle memory.

His favourite pie is... you know what, Cake is better than pie.
