Marcus snorted, having expected help with his paper before he helped her but he didn't really feel like shouting after her. Instead he pulled his hands from his pockets and started back to his bunk. It didn't take him long to get there and shed his pack, history having been the last class for him as well. After dealing with his bunkmate who had been expecting Marcus's help with a tactical theory assignment, he started for the range in a fresh shirt and fatigue pants. They were more comfortable in his opinion then any other clothes he had.

Marcus was privately pleased with himself that people had in fact noticed his ranking in the range but kept the swell of pride from his face. Instead he seemed to think it over, narrowing his eyes as if studying her before shrugging. "Sure. But I'm expecting at least a B then,"

"see I would, but Bobby and I aren't on the best of terms," Marcus said in attempt at explanation, weaving his way through the remaining students to catch up with her. "Besides, I'm thinking you might know more about this then he would. Being the kid of a war hero and all, kinda gives you an advantage."
