"I'm not stalling, these uh, these straps are a pain y'know?" Toby said in reply to Inadi's advice. His friendly spear jabs caught him off guard, as a result he blurted out an excuse that didn't sound too believable. The boy didn't realize he was nervous until Inadi brought it up. "I'm eager to get down there too! Finding a souvenir is my top priority! Er, that and the USB of course." All the technology, the mechanics, there was bound to be an epic toy somewhere in the city. Toby pondered where he could find it as he stood on the railing. Assuming there was some type of toy store or general goods, money would probably be necessary. Hopefully Niran was generous enough to lend the stars. He could already hear the conversation in his head.

"Please Ran! Pleeeeaaaase! I really want it I really do want it,"

"You've already lost two toy's Toby, I really don't want to add another to the list,"

"PLEEEASE!"

The sound of an engine snapped the boy out of his daydreaming, the source coming from a bike piloted by....Niran? His parachute was missing as well. Toby almost wanted to believe his friend had landed, purchased a bike, then flew all the way back up here. "Ran! You don't have a- uh, uhhhhh..." He knew the word existed but it just wouldn't come to mind. Something you need to drive? A card? Paperwork? It felt as if it were on the very tip of his tongue, the feeling was stressful. "uh, you don't have permission to ride that thing! You silly man." Riley proposed they ride the bike down before jumping off, a thought he regrettably didn't think of first. "Awh good idea," Toby remarked. Watching Riley jump onto the bike, his heart jumped and he almost leaped overboard as the vehicle swayed to one side. Niran wasn't wearing his parachute so he would've been forced to chase him through the sky. Thankfully it hadn't come to that.

"Okay, okay, all is good! C'mon Toby, c'mon. Everyone's already left us behind, and we can't just lose to Ace!"

"Ace?!" The boy looked at a variety of different chutes gliding through the air. "HA! Yeah right!" With that, Toby leaped off of the rail and downwards to the city. He was pretty much looking for an excuse to leap off unexpectedly, hoping that would ease his nervous mindset and make the journey down more pleasant. which it did. Espionage movies and war flicks began playing in his head. He recalled how soldiers and agents straightened their body like a bullet as they shot through the night sky. Toby mimicked their methods rather poorly. Instead of shooting through the sky like a bullet he couldn't help but spread his arms as if they were wings and dangle his legs aimlessly. It was impossible to hear his own thoughts over the rushing sound of the wind. A smile plastered on his face caused his cheeks to jiggle all sorts of ways as his hair moved at its own will.

Soaring through the sky towards the city, Toby fortunately caught a glimpse of somebody's parachute and realized he forgot he was even wearing one. With haste he gripped the latch and pulled hard, the chute flew open and yanked him from the air, carrying the boy safely towards the ground. The giggling wouldn't cease, it couldn't. The parachutes straps felt tight around the boy's chest but this newfound feeling of gliding through the air drowned the burden out. How exhilarating! Not only had he flown for the first time but skydived as well.

"Wooooohoooooo!"

Japhet could be heard shouting instructions from below, however the boy couldn't exactly make out what he was saying. Soaring through the sky at unfathomable speeds before pulling a string and gliding through the air can throw one's sense of speed off balance. Toby imagined his landing to be light and smooth, like a leaf, gently falling from a branch and onto the ground. However as he came closer and closer towards the ground he showed no signs of slowing down at all. "Oh geez," Not wanting to crush his legs he instinctively pulled on the strings of the parachute, significantly reducing his speed.

"Bend your knees! Tuck and roll! Tuck and roll!"

Toby was beyond grateful Jasper had repeated their guides instructions. Pulling on the stringers tighter and tighter as to slow himself down he began to bend his knees. "Ace!" The boy shouted as soon as he was close enough for her to hear. His feet met the pavement causing him to jog forward slightly, eventually coming to a complete stop. The landing turned out to be much less painful and simpler than he initially thought, but the boy was on quite the adrenaline high. "Ace!" He shouted once more as he began to undo the straps tightened on his body "I hope you don't think you w-uh?! agh!" Just as Toby began to speak the parachute hovered above his head, slowly and gently descending onto his face like a blanket would descend upon a bed, interrupting him with grace.

Thrashing about he was eventually able to pull the thing off of his head, crumpling it up as much as one could crumple something so large before tossing it to the ground with a sigh of relief. The boy rustled his hair in a poor attempt to fix it and gain his composure from the sneak attack before he began to speak once more. "I hope you don't think you and Leila beat us to the bottom because you guys had a head start." Toby walked alongside Ace as well as the others while he spoke.

"Inadi started distracting me and Riley, then Ran stole a bike or something and there was just so much going on, I demand a rematch!" It was at that moment Jasper gestured towards the group to inspect the windows. Toby approached the building, pressing his face against the glass windows in awe. He was too distracted by Niran's dancing on the airstrip to notice the boy on the hoverboard, this was his first time taking in the sight of the contraption. A devious grin overcame Toby's lips, the boy lay his eyes on the hoverboard he desired. A rematch would no longer be necessary.

for a few moments suddenly he would slap Kasus right across the face, hard enough to leave a mark. It wasn't one of anger, but more like one to get the next thing across that Elim had to say. "If you're gonna act weak and hold us all back, then go back to the ship before one of us who can actually fight gets killed trying to protect you."

This is not the kingdom hearts we know and love, haha.

As the palpable tension of battle began to dwindle, Kasus slowly climbed off of the flipped sled, clutching his right shoulder. Even though the area seemed to be clear of heartless he couldn't help but feel worrisome being in the forest. He quickly moved towards his friends, specifically Jared due to the fact that he was not only their leader but also wielded the keyblade. Simply being near someone who was worthy of the weapon eased the boy's cautious mind. By now the man and woman that had nearly plowed into the group began to speak up, Kasus breathed heavy as they began to exchange words with Jared.

"We're no one... really, you know... just passing through and all that, and thought we'd offer to help find you... Your Highness."

"Wha..?" Kasus was confused with his leaders words and thought it was silly to claim the first girl they met in the wilderness would be the princess. However the surprised expression on her face was proof enough that the assumption was correct. If it was even an assumption at all. Kasus laid his eyes on their leader, curious as to how he had figured it out so quickly. Maybe Hans had provided a description that flew over the boy's head, or maybe it was just a keen intuition. Either way their job was thankfully halfway done.

Fatigue from the battle quickly came over Kasus as a chill breeze reminded him how very cold he was. Briefly he searched for the jacket gifted to him by Hans, eventually spotting it lying in the snow. Slowly the boy made his way towards the clothing, flinching as he placed his arms through the freezing sleeves, even so he preferred cold clothing instead of none. He pondered casting his fire spell on the jacket to maybe warm it up some, however he didn't have the energy to cast magic at the moment, not to mention the fact he could risk destroying his only winter clothes.

As Kasus zipped up the coat he noticed Elim approaching him. At first glance he assumed the warrior was merely looking in his direction considering the fact they had never spoken a word to eachother directly, but as he came closer and closer the boy realized she was looking directly at him. "Uh" Was all he muttered before being struck by his comrade. The pain from the slap was hurt significantly more due to the cold, that combined with the fatigue of battle caused Kasus to reel back slightly, his eyes wide as saucers as he listened to Elim's words.

Discipline wasn't a feeling Kasus was familiar with, along with the fear of death and the longing for home. In less than an hour he had experienced all three of these feelings. As Elim turned and walked off and up the mountain Kasus plopped down onto the snow in disbelief. This was not the adventure he spent years dreaming for. Going back to the Gummi Ship sounded quite convincing. However, as the boy contemplated the idea he suddenly came to the dreadful realization that he could not return home. In the eyes of the Lunaris citizens, he was an outlaw. He had no home.

Kasus' cheek stung with a sharp pain, as did his heart.
I shall add Toby to that list ^^

All three troublemakers playing with hoverboards, this should be fun hehehe *rubs hands together*

"A similar issue," Shuya repeated Luci's words, "Hmph." The answer didn't suffice for the gangster, but it was none of his business either way. Akira briefly observed his friend, wondering if he was growing suspicious of their relationship. He usually wasn't one to ask unnecessary questions, but he was also sometimes too intuitive for his own good. While observing Shuya, Akira noticed Luci was drinking, which was somewhat risky. She didn't look the proper drinking age, and they were technically here on business. Than again, the bartender had offered the boy drugs, but that was one of many unspoken privileges being affiliated with the Yakuza provided. Serving alcohol to a minor was probably a daily occurrence in the club.

Akira felt Marco's hand grasp his shoulder as he leaned in and spoke into his ear, "Takiko is in the managers office, i'm gonna go see whatsup. Keep your phone handy in case I have to text you. Don't leave." With that, their companion walked off and into the crowd. Both Akira and Shuya enjoyed Marco's company, even though he was older and had been with the organization much longer, he usually let the two kids get away with a lot in their younger days. They considered him somewhat of a fun uncle, even though he was quite laid back.

"Word spreads fast," Shuya remarked as he nudged Akira on the arm and gestured towards Isabella and Helen. The club owner had already caught wind that Yakuza members arrived, the three stuck out more than they initially thought. This was a ritual they were familiar with, or, one Shuya was familiar with at least, he fancied clubs more so Akira was a little surprised when the diva dropped to her knees to kiss his hand. He usually avoided abusing his privileges, but he wasn't sure where Marco had went and the two women didn't really allow the boy to decline their offer because he was already being lead upstairs to the VIP lounge. He turned around to catch Luci's eye, not wanting to leave her behind.

The walls were most likely sound proof, because the obnoxious music that was being played at full volume immediately faded away as the door to the lounge was closed, and replaced with a more urban tune. C-List celebrities, businessmen, bankers and other such kind of wealthy individuals occupied the room. Some sat at the bar, others at tables, and the more lucky ones were escorted into a private room. Isabelle made sure the Yakuza members were granted their own luxurious booth, already decorated with expensive alcoholic beverages. Shuya was quick to make himself comfortable. Immediately he took a seat on the comfortable lounge seats, chugging champagne straight from the bottle. His cyborg body didn't allow him to become drunk, but he could still enjoy the beverage.

Akira sat beside his friend in silence. He wasn't in the mood for clubbing, not that he ever was, and merely looked around VIP lounge, trying to separate the vermin from the sheep. It was an ironic thought, considering the fact he was sitting amongst them, which only pissed him off. Pulling out his phone he began to scroll through todays news to avoid the negative thoughts. He was hoping to find anything that had anything to do with Operation Freedom or Jackdawl, but nothing popped up. At least not for the public. He pondered calling Sloan.

"Sloan!"

Akira recalled the promise he made yesterday. He needed to pay Sloan twenty grand before the day ends, which was going to be a hassle because her whereabouts were unknown at the moment. He turned to Luci who had been sitting beside him, and briefly took a moment to imagine what she was thinking right now. He claimed their trip could be dangerous but somehow they ended up sitting in lounge chairs drinking champagne. Akira avoided bringing up the fact that Sloan pretty much saved her life, if it wasn't for her skills he would have never found her.

"What are you thinking about?" He asked in a simple tone.
Managed to squeeze in a post, sorry it's mostly reactions.

The boy chuckled as Lesley ruffled his already messy hair and made clicking sounds of his own. Toby turned around and watched with curiosity as Inadi began to practice with his spear. He tried to imagine himself using a weapon with such finesse but he couldn't. Well, he could imagine it, but it just felt weird. He briefly recalled when he first met the group, they all had their own weapons or staffs. Toby had yet to even touch a sword, at least not a real one. Hopefully that wasn't a bad thing, the city of Cogs and Gears felt peaceful and safe anyways. However, the boy was glad somebody like Inadi was with the group. Even though he was a little too mature for his liking, but maybe that was a good thing.

“Hey Gramps! Since the stage is all set, why don’t show us some of your dance moves?” Jasper proposed. Toby's eyes shot open with delight at the idea. Apparently while the group was wrestling Charles, Niran managed to win a dance competition. The boy was eager to see how he had done it, but that still had yet to happen. "I think that's the best idea i've heard all day, I want to watch Gramps dance!" Toby declared. Soon enough his friend was convinced and began to dance away. "Go Ran! Go Ran! Do the running man Ran, do the running man Ran!" Toby chanted as he clapped in unison with the the syllables in his song. The way his friend moved with confidence and satisfaction, there as no mistake that these were the moves of a dance competition winner. He certainly earned every star.

"Now those moves are impressive," Toby turned his attention to their guide, along with Harper and Leila that followed behind. The moment Toby's eyes laid on the parachutes his stomach jumped with excitement. He already knew what Japhet was about to say but still wanted to hear the nobody say it so bad, just to make sure. "We've reached the port, guys. You'll be jumping off the ship, so put these on. They're really simple to use and I'll be heading down with you, so don't worry."

"YES!" Toby shouted, clenching his fists. He quickly approached the nobodies tiny robot friend and grabbed his own parachute. "Thank you!" he exclaimed, and looked to Japhet for instructions. It wasn't as complicated as he anticipated, activating the chute merely required one to pull on the string. In almost a carefree manner, Japhet leaped off the railing and into the city. The boy approached the side of the airship, grabbing the railing as he looked overboard in awe at their guides courage. "I wonder if he gets to do this everyday,"

"Damn, now that is amazing, so...who wants to go first? Ace? Toby? Anyone? I dare you to go ahead."

"Well, we can't keep the troops waiting. Gosh...w-we're really high up, aren't we?" Toby eagerly began to strap on the parachute as Ace quickly accepted Riley's dare. The boy wanted to beat Ace to the punch and leap overboard without warning, racing her to the bottom. However the sound of Harper's screams indicated he was the first to...'volunteer'

"No fair!" Toby shouted. "That doesn't count, Riley pushed him off." Ace suggested that they jump in pairs, which sounded like a fun idea. The others began to leap off one after the other, chasing Japhet into the city of Cogs and Gears. Looking over the railing, Toby was reminded once more this was the first time he had ever taken flight in the air. It was only natural he felt nervous about leaping off of the airship, it was difficult even for him to imagine that they would soon be on the ground within a matter of minutes. He looked to Riley as he tightened the straps on his parachute. "So uh, this may surprise you, but i've never done this before, and i'm willing to bet a hundred stars you haven't either." The boy finished strapping on the parachute and climbed onto the railing, balancing himself as he extended his hand towards Riley with a confident smile.
I want to play :3

Luci was still willing to put up with whatever business Akira and his family could involve themselves in. That was both surprising and relieving, he couldn't help but smirk at her words. "You don't have to be here for this." he said, which felt like it may have sounded cold. "But, i'm glad you are." he added after a moment. Shuya remained quiet. The elevator came to a stop and the doors swung open. As the three walked out they were met by another Yakuza member who had been standing, waiting for their meeting to finish.

"Marco, you coming with us?" Shuya asked the man, who at the moment was smoking a cigarette. He had a rather bored expression on his face at all times. All three of the Yakuza's were dressed in rather expensive black pinstripe suits that were designed for fashion but served as somewhat of a uniform for the gangsters. "Yeah, big man called me as soon as your meeting ended." The group walked in unison through the decorated palace as they spoke, passed a variety of different people and races all there for different reasons. "We can handle ourselves," Shuya remarked in distaste. "Well, I guess Kaito thinks otherwise." Marco replied, Shuya looked away, his arrogance clouding his bosses judgement call.

Several minutes later the group found themselves in the palace's garage. Marco lead the three of them towards a very expensive looking sports car, it was difficult to tell if the vehicle belonged to them or not. Marco entered the drivers seat and the others followed. With the press of a button the engine instantly started and they sped up and out of the garage, into the streets of Chicago.

The drive was about thirty minutes. Shuya sat in the passenger seat making small talk with Marco as Akira sat in the back besides Luci. The boy spent most of his time looking out the window, observing the broken city. Some parts of the city were violence free, politicians and businessmen lived happily thanks to the wealth they most likely gained illegally, or by screwing citizens over. Other parts of the city, the results of those evil deeds were thrown into the day light. Slums and ghetto's plagued the city. Small riots and not so peaceful protests could be found at the turn of a corner. PMC's patrolled some areas and there were checkpoints at almost every mile. It was thanks to Marco's knowledge of the area they were able to avoid most of the military. The city was set on a path that would turn it into nothing more than a pathetic warzone.

Akira merely sighed, that was all he could do.

Chicago
Elf Haven
12:55pm
Entering the Devils Den...

The music could be heard blaring at least one hundred yards from the entrance. Marco lead the group past a very long line of civilians looking to get into the hottest club in Chicago owned by none other than the Yakuza. Thankfully all the rioting and terrorist attacks had stayed away from the area, so business went on as usual. There was a variety of races waiting in line but the majority of them were either elves or halfling. The bouncer was an Orc who was probably hired because of his ugly yet intimidating face. He had most likely been working for the club for quite some time because he recognized all of the Yakuza gangsters on sight, except for Luci. He didn't dare question why she was with them though, and simply nodded his head towards them as they walked through the door. Everyone watched with envy.

The four of them walked through hallways filled with drugged up vampires, elves looking to score. Eventually they came to a corridor that lead downstairs and into the main room of the club. The place was packed and the music was even louder. The four of them stopped in front of the crowd as Marco lit a cigarette. "Bar is this way," Shuya shouted, and walked into the crowd, shoving people aside. As the four of them approached the bar, Shuya took a seat and gestured towards a girl to bring him a drink. Marco leaned on the counter, continuing to take drags from his cigarette as he observed the area. Akira leaned on his back on the counter as well, crossing his arms. "You're underdressed," he shouted to Luci with a sarcastic smirk on his face.

A rather sexualized female android approached Shuya, bringing him a glass of something strong. The boy turned around in his stool, leaning his arm on the counter as he downed his liquor. Marco's cellphone began to ring. He pulled it out of his pocket, placing the phone on his left year and a hand on his right as to improve his hearing. "Hello?! Yeah, where are you? We're at the bar. Hello? Yeah, I said we're at the bar." As Marco shouted into his phone the android bartender tapped Akira on the shoulder, gaining his attention before whispering something into his ear. Apparently it was obvious the group was affiliated with the Yakuza, because the girl was offering Akira drugs in an attempt to make sure he enjoys his time at the club. He merely shook his head.

By now Shuya was on his second drink. He happily sipped on the alcohol and cocked his head to the side as he admired the women in the club. Eventually he laid his eyes on Luci, his curiosity getting the best of him thanks to the alcohol. He looked her up and down for a moment. "So what's your deal?" he blurted out, "How'd you get mixed up with us?" He sipped on the drink as he waited for an answer. He knew fully well why she had been working for the Yakuza, he just an excuse to talk to the girl. He felt awkward with her around.
Kasus' eyes were sealed shut as he stood in the snow holding onto his weapon for support and shaking helplessly. He was waiting for death, but Serene came in it's place, attacking the heartless that was charging towards him and gaining it's attention. The sound of a gunshot snapped Kasus out of his helpless state. His eyes shot open, revealing a heartless being pinned down by Simo's Gravity. "Get out of there!" he shouted. Every part of Kasus was screaming for him to run away, but he couldn't. Well, he could, but he refused too. They were still outnumbered, if he made for the hills now it would only benefit their enemy. Instead of running away from the heartless in front of him Kasus forced his weak limbs to sprint towards the wolf. However it wasn't really sprint, more of an awkward jog.

Thanks to Simo's bullet as well as his Gravity spell, the heartless was pinned down and even more helpless than Kasus at the moment, who took full advantage of the situation by stomping on the beasts neck and impaling it's neck with his halberd, causing the creature to combust into a dark essence before fading into nothing. The only reason was able to take out that heartless was with Simo's help, no doubt if he faced one head on by himself, the creature would pick the boy off with ease. Kasus made for the crashed sled, limping in his sprint. He had managed to catch the eye of what appeared to be a snowman. In any other context he would've laughed and imagined Elim's reaction to the thing. The irony was very humorous, but now wasn't at all the time for laughter or jokes.

Kasus dove behind the sled regrettably into the snow once more. He landed on his aching shoulder which seemed to be injured, thankfully it was his left arm and not his right. He took a brief moment to collect his bearings as he lay behind cover, grunting as his breathing was heavy and his lungs ice cold. Eventually he grabbed onto the sled and pulled himself up, observing the battlefield. The wolf Serene attacked, thus saving Kasus, was now circling the girl attempting to attack. The boy climbed onto the sled, holding his weapon in his left hand. "Fire!" he shouted as he slammed his left and right hands together, engulfing his weapon into flames.

Briefly he took a moment to remember the days on Lunaris he spent learning this magic spell. He was suddenly grateful for the wizard that visited his shop and gifted him the spell-book for free. Never could he have imagined this was how he'd be using that knowledge. Kasus gripped his fire weapon in his right hand, using all of his strength to launch it into the air as if it were a javelin. The halberd was designed to be a two-handed weapon but Kasus was using it as if it were a spear. A grin of accomplishment overcame the boy's face as the makeshift spear plunged into the heartless that had been circling Serene.

Four more to go.
