Ok so machine powered stuff...yea I'd probably use an old character sheet with a mech pilot with electrical attacks. That being said, I'd still like to keep that kind of, swordsman who doesn't trust vampires because his arm was ripped off background though.

Can I at least say my character has a deep distrust of vampires since he was attacked by one and it ripped off his arm. He'd have a prosthetic and would only carry a silver weapon in that hand.

That wasn't really made clear in the description you gave of Donians, you actually listed that as a problem so I assumed that vampire hunters were a thing XD

I was thinking of having my character be a swordsman from Doniaeth who joined a specialized vampire hunting squad. I can somewhat imagine him having these older more myth like medieval weapons, but also have some high tech stuff like you'd see in Blade.
