Victor smirked, and laughed nervously at Chloe's comment. "Well you might not like it as much as you think," he replied, continuing with a less confident tone. He already knew that she was going to hate the mission no matter how much it paid, and getting into a fight with Chloe in front of the master probably wasn't the smartest idea. "We are basically going to be mowing some old man's lawn," he continued. "Now hear me out on this, and trust me I hate the idea of not going on a mission that doesn't involve pummeling a few bad guys as the next person, but there is something odd about this mission," he decided to hand her the quest as proof. "As you probably can see that it is quite absurd for a normal person to pay that much just to have his lawn mowed, and even if he is just a crazy old man with a lot of cash, it is easy money none the less." He then looked at Elliot, and got close to Chloe's ear, and whispered, "plus if we actually end up having to mow the lawn, we can just make Elliot do it, I mean what else is he good for other than dissolving things" in an attempt to reassure Chloe's decision.
