Barry stirred slightly in his sleep before sitting back upright, his one red hair was now a dull brass colour, he looked as if he was in a severe hangover. He perked up as he smelled tea being brewed, although it wasn't as good as blood, it was a damn sight better than nothing.

April stopped struggling with her arm, she knew he was on the edge of an outburst, and she was right in the centre, Jack pulled her closer, and she could see his nostrils flaring, he was about to go. "I-I'm sorry, I'm sorry" she repeated timidly, attempting to brace herself for the oncoming storm. "Please Jack, let me go."

April tried to pull her arm away, but his grip was vice-like "J-Jack let go, l-let go Jack." She said quietly, fear growing inside of her. She tried to pull his arm off, but his fingers were rigid, she sat there in shock, trying to pull away again and again, but it was unrelenting. Eventually she stopped struggling and said "J-Jack, p-please let me go, th-there's no point in getting angry..."

April froze. Anger began to flow through Jack's words, and she was sat right next to him, she knew now, that if she made a move to escape, it might set him off, so she stayed completly still. "Thomas. Murder isn't part of an ADD sufferer's M.O. It's not part of what they do, there must be something else."

"You're scaring me even more now. I know that's a lie. ADD isn't enough to get you in a place like this. I don't care what your disorder is, but what your motive for lying is what I care about" She said, then tucked her knees into her chest. She made sure she couldn't even mildly annoy Jack with anything she does, because he might go into a fit.

April sat there shocked at what Jack had just said, she peiced together the words in her head. Intermittent explosive disorder. Fear washed over her, she was sitting next to a guy that, without warning could burst out into an uncontrollable rage, and she was at the centre of it. Without even thinking she blurted out to Jack "please don't hurt me" and instantly regretted those words.

"Th-Thomas, you're scaring me" April said timidly, his smile putting her off "H-he doesn't have to say if he doesn't want to" She shuffled closer to Jack, although he scared her slightly he was the one that April thought was the most normal, something seemed a bit off with Robbie.

"Well, nobody has ever read my books, so I don't know if I am a good writer or not.." She said timidly, she was shocked into fear by Jack. April became quieter, she was going to have to be nicer to Jack throughout her stay here, she didn't want to get hurt.

Being Human

Barry stood up and walked slowly into the living room, the blood was having its effect now, he felt nauseous, he sat down on the couch and laid his head to the side, before he knew it his eyes were closed and he was drifting asleep.

(Side note, the blood won't kill him, but will make him violently ill for a day.)
