Oh, come on! All Khan said was that fights should be done with healers present, I'm quite positive that most, if not all, the healers at the college are present.

Keep in mind, you'll risk being reprimanded by the teachers in the worse way. I'm sure Lidda would love to bone bind some wild and overacting student for her demonstration. Khan is sitting at the head table, being a baby and not taking his medicine though he was told to, and can be talked to before the demos start.
