He's being civil with Neku because Neku is similar to him in a way. The reason he doesn't battle a person twice in one day, is because he doesn't care enough to do so. If the person managed to win against him, then he may challenge them again after training, but otherwise he doesn't bother. xD He's sort of a cold jerk like that, I guess.
Gray doesn't battle one person twice in one day. He's too cool for that. :)
It's a secret.

He could be one of those mime guys.

:)
Gotcha. After this match, Gray's Nidoran is going to evolve, and they are going to head to the gym, challenge the leader, and then continue onwards.
Gray paused in shock, his emotionless facade crumbling for a second as the young boy released a quiet snicker. He immediately regained his composure, however, and Nidoran rolled with his kick, lashing around and jabbing his hind legs at the Pokemon once more.

"...It's next move is Confusion. Command the move, and Ralts will feel it..." Gray's voice seemed to come from everywhere, and yet no where at all. If you were to pierce the darkness that shaded his face, you would see that his lips weren't moving. His stoic facade was set in stone.
((Gray has quite a few hidden on his person...xD))

Gray nodded, tilting his hat downwards and crossing his arms. "Double Kick." His voice was, as always, completely silent, but his Pokemon seemed to hear him. Nidoran's eyes glowed crimson, before the Pokemon dashed forward, turning on it's heel and lashing at the Ralts with two stony hooves.
I'm still on vacation, so I won't be able to reply nearly as fast as anyone else. Apologies.

Also, Soulless can speak the Pokemon language now? o.o

Neku smirks as well at this question. "Unfortunately, everyone on my way here was defeated by a trainer and his dragon-type pokemon. I wasn't sure what I was more surprised by; the fact that a dragon type was used or that they were all beaten by the same trainer." He stated, knowing that it was obvious he was speaking of the boy before him.

Gray didn't appear surprised. He merely glanced down at Ravage and King, his Gible and Nidoran respectively, before nodding and glancing up. "It wasn't too hard." He responded, a small smirk appearing on his own face. Surprisingly, this boy wasn't as annoying as every other trainer he had met the day before. At least, he didn't make Gray want to yell and attack with knives. Stretching lightly, he backed up, Nidoran taking it's spot ahead.

"How about this. You nudge Nidoran to his evolution, and we see about getting your Ralts it's first move?" His smirk lessened slightly, and underneath his hat and gray hair, his eyes twinkled. "It's obvious that Ralts has no offensive capabilities at this time. Doesn't have the same...psychic glow as the other Ralts I've run across."
I'm interested in a villainous character as well....most-likely a Kryptonian.

"Yeah, but, I feel my partner and I could use a bit more training.." Neku admits, adjusting his headphones slightly out of habit.

Gray nodded in understanding, uncrossing his arms and allowing a small smirk to appear on his face. The boy had a few hours to spare, so he might as well do something productive for both him and his Pokemon. "Understandable." He responded. "Have you tried fighting anyone here?"
