Responsibility belongs not to the name stenciled on the mantel, but to the one who carries the mantle.

Jace Beleren... That's a name I know. They are relaxing through out the town, I will ask for the town elder to call them together. I suspect we will meet someone else who may be able to help us, though it may take some convincing to get the help we want. Come, the Elder is this way.

Mot ducks down an ally walking briskly. He chewed on Victoria's response in his head, considering all the possible implications. He realizes that he still doesn't have a name for the woman, and shrugs, if that's how she wanted to play he could roll with it. She'd been summoned to Ravnica and met Jace Beleren while there... interesting. The way she said it made it sound as if Jace was not one of her employers... Yet she didn't seem to have suffered any harm, and seemed to have her full mental capacity with her, so he wasn't a foe either... Then again, Jace could be a persuasive fellow by all accounts.

They arrived at Dernga's dwelling place, and Mot requested that the chief gather his guests. Dernga sent a runner to collect the group, told Mot that the visitor had been contacted and then informed Mot that the visitor had promised to visit the next day. Mot smiled behind his mask, but said nothing. He took that to mean that their visitor would arrive this night, probably when the village... er town was asleep. Mot hoped the dragon hadn't gone far, he would need an big Type A personality to hide behind while the visitor made his "request" to the group. But this business of ... whatever her name was, bothered him. Jace was a name Mot was wary of. Mostly because the man it belonged to had a history of taking what he wanted by force, whether physical or mental. That implied that a visit from Jace meant he wanted something, or everything, you had. So Mot had been quite content to have avoided dealing with that particular planeswalker. But now it was apparently unavoidable... at least it was through a middle man, middle woman?, for now though he didn't expect that luxury to last for long.
Something came up, I assume IRL, it looks like the IC post will be delayed. :/ I hope whatever it is resolves favorably and quickly for Orior so this can get the epic start it deserves.

It happens, I just we can get things moving again. This is a rather interesting experiment, and it's stretching my ability to GM a bit, in a good way. I hope things settle down for everyone pretty soon.

For those of you wondering where to start in town, set yourselves up in town somewhere. (ie relaxing at a tavern, watching a local event somewhere, etc) First one to post being at a place in town gets to describe it, basically you all have creative license to make a place for your character to be so long as it somewhere in town. You don't have to be all at the same spot if you don't want to be, entirely up to you.
You could time skip if you like, and finish the interaction as a narrative later. I think I'll be doing that in a couple of hours if Nev hasn't posted by the time I get back from dinner with some friends.
