She yawns, and heads to the stream again, although this time she moves quietly, looking for food.
"What am I gonna kill..." She thinks.

at her slower pace she finds various bushes and wild root vegetables that look edible while one berry bush looks similar in color to what was in the bread. upon reaching the stream she finds a large raven like creature the size of an eagle seeming to watch her go about her business, completely still, it's eye constantly fixated upon her but it doesn't move to attack or to run away or at all really

She eats some of her bread. Not much, just a little, before sleeping.

the bread tastes odd but sweet, the berries most likely wild just like the grains
she wakes only to hear a bird taking off, her sleep dreamless and she feels less rested than normal. she can't really tell due to the fog being so thick but she slept through the night, leaving her with a new day to decide how she was going to get more food, better shelter, and practice her magic, or of course die horribly

She looks at it.
"If I had my force powers....hmm..." She thinks, before taking a drink of the water. She then cleans her face, and walks back to the camp.

it scampers off into the brush upon hearing her speak. she finds tracks on her way back to camp, showing that she'd in the area of something big along with deer tracks, fresh and looking like they're along a well traveled path. at camp she finds nothing changed or missing, but nothing added from her venture to the stream

She, having a good knack for finding her way around, stoops near the river, and looks around in it."Are you ok to drink..." she mutters, as she looks at it.

she finds it to be clear and moving rapidly, the fog seeming to clear somewhat around the banks, allowing her to see a rabbit on the other side of the river

She smiles. "I am liking this already...." She says, as she pulls out the map. "Now, time to move to that stream...I should see if the water is drinkable." She thinks, as she packs her stuff, and walks towards the stream, using the map to guide her.

she finds that the tiny slip of paper doesn't properly display distance as it takes her longer than she thought to reach the stream. the map also didn't mention the fact that it was almost a river, most likely having been drawn during a dry season. after leaving the tents and fire behind she soon loses them, making it difficult to return as there wasn't an easy way to tell which way she was going without the map. and the fact that it was drawn by a child probably meant that it'd be inaccurate with certain things

She tries it again, this time before throwing to it, she adds some of her energy to it.

she finds that her inner flame lies seperate to her soul, which she normally uses, but seems to strengthen it, sputtering to life as soon as she calls upon it. she throws a tiny fireball, incapable of even lighting the brush on fire but causing a tiny explosion which she could tell would hurt being struck with

"...So, it's THINKING it will work will make it work...well...let's try it..." She says, as she attempts to throw a fireball. She thinks that it will work, as she attempts to form it in her hand first.

she finds that this only forms a meager flame that sputters as soon as it leaves her hand

She opens the book first thing, and digs in, devouring it...in the reading sense.

she finds that it only has four chapters, one for basic pyromancy that teaches her how to summon a small flame using her glove by willing it into being and beleiving that it would work, where as her force powers would have her literally force her energy to cause things to happen, creating a fundamental difference. the other pyromancy chapter shows how to make a fireball by manipulating her own energy and adding it to the flame before throwing it physically. the other two chapters are on sorcery but are largely useless to her as they require a different catalyst. while reading it becomes fairly obvious that the book was intended for children by the wording and detailed diagrams displaying how to do this form of magic. the book seems to keep reffering to her "inner flame" when talking about manefesting the flame and feeding flames she's created, saying that it shall burn greater the more she uses it

She sighs, and looks around for supplies.
"I hope he didn't leave me with nothing.." She thinks. "He left you with a revved engine." Chris says, hearing her thoughts. "God, sometimes I regret reviving you." She says, half heartedly.

she finds a loaf of bread made from wild grains and berries, a full waterskin, a dagger that looks somewhat old but still sharp and well looked after, a map of the area that looks like it was drawn by a child but still points out a stream to the east and a skull and cross bones to the north, and a small book titled "basic magic"

"Hey! Hey!" She screams. She then sighs. She then moves to the fire. "...Well, this IS pyromancy.....hmm..." She says, as she attempts to minipulate the fire.

she finds that just trying to manipulate through force it does nothing but cause the flames to shift slightly, but it could have equally been a breeze
