"I..I..have to..." She says, as she looks at the ground, before taking a deep breath.
"I am sorry..but I can't throw my life away. If I disobey a direct order, I will lose my status....." She starts, as she turns towards the door.

"and what would happen if you were to fuck up and the VIP were to die because something happened with your powers?" the man says evenly, not sugar coating the fact that she was liable to accidentally kill the VIP with her powers in her current state

The man growls, and vanishes again.
"...Well, I can't say no...it's a direct order from the emperor himself....." She says. "Looks like I have to do this...but, I have an idea...what if I brought the V.I.P here? I mean, you're badass enough I doubt anyone would try anything to harm them." Delta says.

"while the compliments are lovely even if flattery will get you no where in this case. this is your job not mine therefore i will get nothing out of doing it for you while you are in no condition to be doing even dog walking jobs. therefore, unless this emperor wishes to pay mercenary fees i'm going to have to disallow you from doing this mission. if the emporer wishes to complain about that he can come here himself to bitch in person" the man replies, looking into her eyes without actually looking at her, as if the last bit of the lecture were directed more at the emperor than her

The man picks the coin up mid air, and smiles.
"I am sorry sir." He says, before vanishing.
"Well, I am getting redeployed to a babysitting mission..." She growls. "Some....inventor or something......I really hope it isn't Tsubaki..." She says.
Then, about two hundred coins rain down at the man's front door. Exact change.

the coin misses his hand before hitting him in the face so hard it gives him a concussion. the man then hands the coin to delta before saying "tell them to find someone else. you're state is much to volatile as of current to be oked for missions"

"It's a letter from the emperor." The man yells, as loud as his lungs will allow. This leads to delta rushing out, and grabbing the letter, tearing it open and reading it. As she reads, her face grows more and more sad.
"....Well.......shit....." She says, looking a good deal sad. "Your trainer is an asshole who owes a 30 pound fine....which is now 300, due to threatening a military member." The man growls. Delta facepalms, now her face growing red.
"I'll pay for it..." She grumbles, and the mailman vanishes.

"what is it?" the man asks, tossing her a platinum coin worth about five hundred and saying "he was threatening me from my own porch so of course i'm not going to pay that ass hole, but you should get yourself something nice" in explanation

"..........I'm just a mailman......." He says, now sweating a good deal. "I am part of the imperial postal service......however, it does not matter." He says, shaking his head as if to shake the fear off. "Murder is murder. I've done nothing to harm you, and you are breaking laws that go above your head. So, pay the fine." He growls.

"you come to my home, deliver my mail, and then threatened me with laws that don't concern me due to the fact that i'm not an imperial citizen... do you really think continuing along this line of speech is a good idea?" the man replies in an even tone before saying "delta, there's an annoying soldier saying something about your nude pictures of solaire arriving". the man then reseals the letter as if it was never opened

"Sir, I will not leave until you pay the fine. Also, killing me would get your ass thrown into an imperial jail for long enough you wouldn't remember what the sun felt like." He growls, growing a bit more bold. The letter is in some sort of text he cannot read, the markings looking like something close to greek letters.

"what rank are you" the man asks it as something of an order, interupting the soldier mid rant as if he gave no fucks about imperial law

When the soldier sees what happened, he shakes a bit, before yelling into the door "Sir, you are under arrest for tampering with imperial mail. Please either come with me, or pay a fine of 30 pounds." He says, still shaking.

"just be happy you're alive and report back to your commander that the mail was delivered" he says evenly as he reads, adding in after thought "now get the fuck off my porch"

"S-sir I am under orders." He says, growing a bit of spine. "If she is here, tell her to come to the door...this is an urgent situation." He says.

"do i look like i give a fuck?" the man says evenly before looking in the soldier's eyes and making him see the man lift his mask, revealing a maw of razor sharp teeth before devouring him face first as all his struggles come to naught, the illusion so vivid he can actually still feel the bites as the man shuts the door, having taken the letter while he was screaming in pain. the man opens the letter and reads it as he walks back to the kitchen, sipping at his coffee

"Sorry sir, I am under orders to give it to her directly." He says, sorta sweating.

"just give the letter before you shit yourself" the man says evenly, smiling under his mask however it doesn't come out in his voice

"Umm...I have a letter for her....." He says, sorta getting freaked out.
