the man slips a hand into her free one as a comforting display, letting the conversation drop

"Well....I grew up on a outer colony...." She says, as she practices. "When I was 14, a gorgon came out of the woods and killed everyone I knew, until I managed to drive a forklift into it, impaling it. Then, I was given my eyes as a token of victory...." She says.

"sounds rather inconvenient. anyone you miss from the old village?" he replies, his voice betraying little as he seems to take an emotionless stance on losing her entire colony

She tries this, but manages to rip a large chunk of flesh off.
"Damn it, what the hell?" She says, surprised. "I meant to do it gently..." She grumbles. Oddly her flesh regrows quickly.

"just do it slowly first" he suggests evenly before sipping at his tea, letting her practice as they talk. "tell me about yourself" he says evenly, hear tea waiting in front of her on the side with her free hand

She holds her hand out, and winces a little, expecting something a bit painful.

the man hands her the kunai, saying "alot of my tricks revolve around practice. i want you to practice sheathing it and drawing it until you can do it so fast that it seems to just appear in your hand" as he shows her a small holster in her sleeve, perfectly sized and placed to hide it. he then shows her how he does it slowly, using his pinkey to draw it by putting it through the loop in the pommel and jerking his wrist so that the kunai spins to land in his palm, he then does the exact opposite to sheath it before doing it all at once, the kunai appearing in his hand after a small blur.

She walks over, and sits on a cushion.
"So, is this just tea or what?" she asks.

"it can dispense sake too" he says with a chuckle, his mouth curling at the corners before holding out his hand for her's, two cups of tea being dispensed automatically onto the table

"You could buy me dinner and a few beers first geez." She replies, also joking."And sure, show me your ninja sneaky shit.." She says, smiling.

he laughs a bit in response before gesturing to some cushions next to a wall with a table and what looks like a tea dispenser

She smiles a bit, and puts an arm around his shoulder as she walks with him.
"I see.....You are just a walking talking concentrated can of woop ass aren't ya?" She asks, laughing afterwards.

he chuckles a bit as he replies "something to that effect" and slips an arm around her but tries to keep the placement friendly as he says "ready to learn or would you like me to provide another demonstration? maybe i could remove your clothes from across the room?" he laughs a bit at the last part, suggesting a joking nature, but in truth he could actually do it

"And that is what the armor was for..." She says, groaning slightly from the flesh wounds. Oddly, they heal rather quickly.

the man then throws a shuriken through the thick metal door and causes it to stick in the hallway wall just to prove a point as he gathers his weaponry and chucks the halberd's remain in an incinerator. "when i say something's worth learning, it's worth learning" he says evenly, although she could tell he was a bit annoyed with her as he picks the projectiles out of her and stashes them away, causing them to seemingly disappear

She enters into a stance of her own, and gently taps the ground with her halberd.

the man makes a small motion before the head of the halberd falls to the ground, a shuriken implanted in the wall behind her another few small motions and she can feel very superficial wounds over her heart, lungs, brain, and other organs or painful spots before the man states "the demonstration's over" even though she can tell that he wasn't putting much force behind the throws, the placement and almost imperceptible motions when he threw them speak volumes. although they were actually sticking just far enough to not fall but not far enough to do damage, making each one a flesh wound although it's very obvious he could have killed her many times over

She picks it up, flings it about a bit, testing it. She finds it wanting.
"Not anywhere near my glave." She grumbles. She then slashes down, and the floor cracks fairly badly. "Oh sorry!" She says, not expecting it.

the floor slowly mends itself as he gets in an unarmed combat stance, waiting for her to say she's ready or make some small motion to the same effect
