Damien blinked and flinched from her a little. He had been very preoccupied. "Erm,.. no. Please just call me Damein. I'm just keeping a look out. Hey, will that fire harm the undead?"

"why would it have to? my goddess will protect us" she says cheerfully, seeming to have the same blind faith as most devout people do. she offers him some rice after a small moment of thought

"Yep. Right in the down under...." She says, as she stands up. "Nice little trick with the tag....so....are you going to kill me, or just beat me?" she chuckles.

she suddenly finds herself collared and locked to a human-esque form, preventing her from manipulating her body outside of keeping it as is or her powers except to live. "just going to keep you locked up a while, maybe send your dad pictures of you servicing the men until he comes to get you" he replies evenly although she could tell the last part was something of a joke even though his face was still hidden behind a mask before he takes her into a room, removing her weapons as he walks with her, even the ones she thought were hidden. depositing her in a featureless room before forcefully removing her clothes down to her underwear and leaving her there, the door shutting seemlessly with the wall leaving her no way to leave.

"so what now?" the man asks evenly once he returns to the gathering point for solaire's men, minx's clothes thrown over his shoulder nonchalantly

He finds Darkside kneeling over Minx, checking to see what is wrong. He touches her shoulder, and vanishes. At his touch, Minx starts laughing loudly.

the man sighs and sheathes his blade before collecting her and appearing where solaire's forces had gathered, saying "the mission's fucked"

The question whether or not this person was was sane enough not to inadvertently attract monsters came into question. Damien's moral code wouldn't allow him to simply leave her undefended, but he couldn't expect much help from her if he were to be attacked himself. He sighed heavily at the dilemma. If she did turn out to be a powerful magic user, he'd be surprised. Magic did exist. Most however didn't believe in it and shunned any of the subject. That was why Damien kept his own gift, or curse, to himself.

Standing out front of the tent, keeping watch, Damien waited for the sun. He was so very tired, yet couldn't let go of his tension. Off in the distance, he could see the glimmer of souls. They could belong to humans, ghosts, maybe even great beasts of old. Using that soul-sense, he kept vigil for any approaching souls, saying nothing of why he seemed to stare out into space.

she adds a log to the blue-black campfire which seemed to have an odd effect of drawing the cold out of things rather than heating them, making the effect somewhat better by comparison as there was no chill to fight off, leaving a comfortable heat despite how cold the night might be. upon noticing him just staring off into space elycia walks over and waves her hand in front of his face, seeming to be checking if he was awake as she asks "you fall asleep mister?" while holding a bowl of rice, eating it distractedly as she watches him intently

She smiles.
"Letting me talk, was a bad idea." She says, as her rather long tongue to lick off the tag. She stands, and shivers.
"Oh, that was a rush!" She says, smiling. She then goes back to her stalking mode, and goes to watch the fire again.

she finds herself suddenly falling to the ground, completely paralyzed and with little control over her powers, rendering her just able to keep herself alive. she sees the man walking away without explanation with his sword drawn as he disappears, appearing in the palace in a position he can monitor dark side without being detected, his sword keeping him from being sensed

He finds all it to be, is an odd triangular device, with in the hood. He then feels a knife to his throat.
"Who are you?" A female voice asks, in an oddly sweet tone. "You seem smart....handsome too...." She giggles.

she suddenly finds herself scalded as the man explodes and disappears. she then feels a paper tag slap onto her back before she goes limp, her body going into partial paralysis allowing her to speak but not move or use her powers aside from keeping herself alive and in one state/piece.
"you're a smart girl, but you've still got a ways to go" he says evenly before disappearing, leaving her on the glass, trapped in her own body without any way to use her powers aside from keeping herself alive

It is a hooded figure, embedded in the sand to about its nose. It seems to be looking at him though binoculars.

the man sneaks up behind them before turning the glass around them to sand and sealing their mystical energy using a paper tag, rendering them trapped due to the thickness while he manages to get a look at them

He senses something, about 30-40 miles off, to the south. A small energy source.

he appears behind it silently, leaving an image of him trying to light fire each time it's put out. he keeps his sword drawn and takes in the attacker's appearence, seeming to be invisible to their mystical senses while they're preoccupied with his illusion

Again, it goes out. Oddly, a door into the temple opens, and a whisp of rotten smell coming on the wind.

the man opens his senses up slightly as he relights the fire, looking for any mystical traces coming to douse the flames

He finds himself in a sandy valley, overlooked by a large temple to the east. However, when he attempts to light the bonfire, it sizzles out, something keeping it from lighting.

the man then proceeds to put a metal ring around the bones before relighting the bonfire with no issues. he then proceeds to teleport into a hidden spot in the temple where he could observe dark side without being spotted, letting the troops catch up to him
