"Well if that's the case, why aren't you out everyday working a 9 to 5 job to put bacon on the table." She teases back, knowing how he has spent a lot of time, and wealth, on her.

"i own a transdimensional iron and mystical wares business and use a metric fuck ton of shadow clones to keep it staffed. i tend to not really run out of money but i do still take jobs from time to time to help stave off boredome" he says drowsilly before downing his coffee and giving her a kiss on the top of her head

"Morning feather face." She says, playfully. She walks over and gives him a tight hug, kissing his cheek before she goes off and downs some toasts, with a nice large can of beer.

"combat training?... or do you want to move on to more "womanly pursuits"?" he asks drowsilly, but she can spot the teasing tone in the second option as he sits across from her, eating slowly, not to mention the fact that he probably wouldn't have her sewing socks or something equally demeaning unless it was useful to her

Delta rolls her eyes a little, but smiles and heads off to the kitchen, to grab a beer and maybe some toast.

she finds the man fixing a cup a coffee and munching on some toast, still looking a bit tired as he says "morning" around a mouthful of toast

Delta stays in bed, stretching and scartching for a few minutes, before leaping up and about to go get ready for training. Her tail whipping about, happily.

she finds a small note, with just two words on the door to the zen garden: breakfast first

he holds her to himself loosely
[time skip for three months because otherwise this would take fucking forever]
delta wakes in the man's arms another morning after a restful night, this time the man had decided to leave only his pants on again, allowing his tail of feathers to trail off behind him. he'd begun to do that alot lately, letting his more "monstrous" side show as her's had as if to let her know that she's not the only one in her predicament, attempting to provide some comfort to her.

"i suppose that's one way to deal with them" he says with a small chuckle as he holds her to his side

"and i think you look beautiful, but then again most people don't share our opinions.... then again i don't really care about most people" he replies, offering a hand as if offering for her to join him

"hm? oh, sorry if it bothers you" he replies evenly before finishing and laying down, looking up at the ceiling

She takes the burger first, then the beer. She downs them in the same order.

the man eats slowly, drinking at the same pace as he sits with her, remaining silent as he relaxes with her, having forgotten about changing back to his more human form
