"you felt bad so you went to get a drink telling me that you were leaving, when you were out trying to enjoy yourself someone ruined it and threatened you so you defended yourself. granted you may have been a bit over zealous by killing them but you came home and told me about it without lying. you were acting within orders as far as i can tell and leaving my company wasn't really that bad because you told me where you were going. if you wish i can punish you if you really feel you need to be, but otherwise you followed orders" he says evenly, showing no malice and an understanding in his voice that shows he's telling the truth about his understanding on the matter, the past few months of him being able to tell when she was bothered and him being able to offer her comfort, support, and someone to listen to her and to help her with her problems without making her uncomfortable about them and knowing just what she needed to make her feel better when she started getting bad. he'd been there for her and helped her for the past few months they'd been together
