I follow along too, taking note of the lighting. ((Is it day or night? Also what time.))

((day and about noon (hence the crowd) and it's a market square))
he sees that the exorcists get into an argument ending with one of them activating their weapon and killing a following akuma, the blast knocking down a house and injuring a few bystanders possibly killing one. upon the provocation and seeing the market square emptying the akuma change form and open fire on the exorcists, making sure they don't kill bystanders

He thinks to himself for a few moments, but then looks for something else. He tries to notice an Noa, or at least try to guess which way he would need to go to find one.

he begins to remember that tyki always felt just like an ordinary human, spotting a noa by sensing for one would be impossible. he sees a small group of exorcists walk into the crowd and he can tell that the akuma noticed as well but they wait and follow the exorcists, looking as though trying to avoid collateral damage

"This noa v.s Exorcist conflict must be out of the general view..." I mutter, before looking around at people's souls hoping to spot something out of the ordinary.

he notes that there are a couple of akuma in the crowd but they aren't attacking anyone, one even stoops to help a little girl get back on her feet after she trips

he finds things to be deceptively peaceful, the people going about their lives as if there wasn't a war

"so using child soldiers against their will against us after kidnapping, torturing, and possibly murdering their family aren't war crimes?" i ask dryly "keep in mind you're talking to a guy that's lived on both sides of the coin. when i have an opinion it tends to be unbiased, and while yes i agree the earls tactics are macabre, the people that become akuma chose to of their own free will and are killed quickly and mercifully, which is better than the exorcists"

"blame the exorcists for forcing him to use those methods... hell, the exorcists are worse in my book, buuuuuuuut that's just me.." i say lighting another cigarette

"Yea, honestly I wouldn't like to go to either depths. The Earl is one of the few people I wouldn't mind ending." Light me says.

"he's not that bad" i say smiling "he's just a kind man that was forced into war with humans, he has nothing against them, he even laments the loss of life... somewhat..."

i finish my cigarette and stomp it out as i say "technically they'd be the earl's levels but it's debatable as to which one's worse"
