The zerg can't manipulate mental energy due to the fact that it isn't genetic. Mental energy can only be manipulated through high training and knowledge, instead of genetic adaptation, which is why Zerg units aren't psychic. The Protoss are the only beings with the discipline and knowledge to master this, although the Terrans are starting to catch onto it.

actually, every zerg unit is connected to the hive via a psionic network, allowing them to do things with psionics. they just adapted an organ that constantly sent out a psionic emp, dispelling psionic and mental energies

you're forgetting abathur that can make new strains instantly... i just made every one of my strain capable of doing the same to themselves....

psionic emp. the view on the force there was that it was a mental energy, which in all honesty it can be either a soular or mental energy so when it's between tiny and myself it's mental, similar to the protoss :P

He said they used an attack to dissconnect him from the temples, and then they used something to push the energy out of him WITH OUT causing a black hole, and then they put a spike in his face.....he also said they they could adapt to anything, to which I am still making the argument that is bullsheit. I mean, unless yo uadd in some sort of outside help genetic adaptation can't stop something, like small atomic particals or stupidly high heats.

remember, my strain can adapt almost instantly to it's enemy or just to my whims

the other odin fires ten massive beams at your own, each the size and scale of a tenth of ygdrasgil, tearing your odin apart and leaving you floating in your command center towards the planet. the man had been nice enough to leave you with a seperate life support to leave you alive for now. you watch as the copy odin super compacts itself an disappears, leaving you crashing towards the planet, your odin destroyed

he finds the attack indeflectable due to the nature and continues to corrupt him, eating away at his physical form and draining his power

He counters by having the network in which his energy be drained into you blocked off, stopping your attack. He then opens his hand and breaks yours.

he finds his hand impossible to open seeing as how it's being forcefully closed by an omnipotent being unless you're willing to explain how he's able to combat someone that's omnipotent. "just stop squirming and die" i say evenly as i force my own power into him, corrupting him and causing his physical form to melt away

then explain how they managed to kill him and permanently adapt to prevent him from fighting in any dimension that particular strain was in? also, this was in an rp between tiny and i so it's non cannon but still available as an example
