he finds that he can't see anything aside from the occasional glow of the fireflies in the pitch black darkness as the feeling grows

he finds neither before nightfall and begins to feel himself being watched

He grabs the carrots and uses the grass, sharp stones, and sticks to make spears
he finds them to all be very good quality despite the rough make. the sun begins to go down soon and he finds that he hasn't made camp, an axe to fell a tree, or seen any firewood on the ground

He goes over to the patch of grass
he finds it to be strong and flexible making it an ok binding or tinder. around him he finds another sharp stone and a couple more carrots

Misogi picks up one of the rocks "...might make a nice knife..." he says to himself
from his new vantage point he can see 4 patches of chest high grass a little bit into the trees

"....nah." he says ".....fuck it." He goes towards the tree line "I'm already doomed..."
he finds the spiders gone and the rocks ripe for the taking, but realizes he has nothing to bind them to the sticks with. the sun grows low, plunging the world into twighlight

Misogi uses the saplings to make tools
he finds that the sticks from the saplings alone are useless, but he sees some sharp rocks near the tree line where the spiders disappeared

"That was a close one." Kumagawa says "... although I could've just kicked them away...meh..." he takes the carrots and picks some of the berries
he finds a nearby rabbit hole but it looks oddly flat. the berry bush has a pocketfull of small red berries that smell rather oddly citrus like. while the saplings remain unattended with long limbs that look perfect for certain tools

Misogi runs from them "goddammit if only I had all fiction." He thinks "then I'd be out of here..."
they chase him into a clearing before watching him and turning back, heading back towards their lair. the clearing has a single berry bush with some red berries, three carrots, and a few sapling dotted about
