Silas leaned against a black minivan. Having recently arrived himself he was now able to get a good view of the surrounding area. Although he would like to try to see if he could teleport home and back, he has never actually attempted to transport himself such a great distance. Neither could he go one jump at a time, they knew about his ability and made sure he couldn't see anything on the ride there. He could only try to make it in one jump. So, for the sake of safety, it looked like he would have to stick here.

As for the view of the school, Silas was impressed. It looked like the place was pretty sturdy, and well funded. As well as just nice to look at! Silas would have loved to bombard his drivers with questions about such topics, but they appeared to not be allowed to talk. IA shame, I would love to be pestering that cutie they sent to drive me here. However, the car would soon be leaving him behind and both the cutie and his little island of solace would be gone, so Silas would need to actually move in towards the school. Was he nervous? Slightly. It was strange to think that he would be surrounded by people who all have something going for them that couldn't be distinguished by the use of the human eye. For all he knew, they could all be teleporters as well. That could real' quite fun. Although this place will probably be filled to the fucking rim with mind readers and those kinds of people.'

Such thoughts began to elude him, for his mind became focused on the task at hand. Which was actually going to the school. He put his hands in his pockets, gave himself a bit of a hunch, and moved forward. He tried to avoid making eye-contact with anyone, and tried to act as inconspicuous as possible. Although he would love to ask around, chances are no one here knew any more than he did. Or so he had hoped anyway. Silas had the feeling that he wasn't the only one who didn't know much, but his feelings have been wrong more often then not. Should I ask someone about it? Would it be worth it? he asked himself, his gut was telling him to move on but his paranoia was telling him to assault the closest person to him with his confusion.

As he trudged forward, the acceptance letter he had been given took up a portion of his mind. Along with his paranoid, he also re-read what he remembered to himself. Very selective process...remarkable gifts...education of the highest quality...quality of life...five-star dining...engineering club.... Not all of this he really cared for, but he knew it all meant at least something to his new life. Quality education meant he had to kick it up if he wanted to keep his grades descent, selective process means they may not accept every 'gift' they see, or maybe that selective process is potentially a lie. He also knew that if they could afford five-star dining and having a plethora of clubs they truly had some special funding behind them. Who would be getting so many little psychics together and giving them an education?
Alright, THE INNER WRITER EMERGES.

Ill try not to disappoint 8D

Also, i might end up asking a few questions about what i'll be allowed to teleport at what times in the chat throughout the rp so heads up.
Ill try to make a post soon, although i doubt i can keep up with some of these lengths in the long run :l this shit is already pretty intense.

Anyhow, we are making posts about travelling to the school, no?
@Tali, thanks 8D Looking forward to this rp!

Gender: Male

Power:

Teleportation. Silas is able to teleport objects, as well as willing living creatures up to the size of semi-trucks anywhere he has been, or can clearly visualize in his head. These visualizations can be done through looking at photos or videos of a place, or by seeing the place without actually being there. He is unable to teleport objects into other creatures, however with some finesse and knowledge of construction he may be able to teleport pieces out of a man-made object. He doesn't always have to touch what he wants to teleport, but the heavier/bigger the object he would like to teleport is the closer it has to be to him. Such as with objects bigger than the average car he has to actually come in contact with it before being able to move it anywhere else.

Personality: Silas is a no-holds grudge wielding kind of man. If he wants to do something, he will try his best to both do it and do it well. He becomes fixated on certain tasks or missions that have been given to him and often spends too much time on the completion of the entire project and ends up losing sight of any of the parts that hold significantly more importance than others.

His grudges live on 'for eternity', or until they have been sufficiently punished. Silas, although rarely acting out on them in public, does what he can to get back against those who holds grudges against. From stealing important papers they may have written from a school project to simply hiding their pens or pencils to frustrate them. He acts as either a nuisance or a small terror to those who have mistreated him. However, this isn't to say that Silas is easy to bring to hate, rather, he just remembers and often can tell when someone is doing something purely because of malevolence.

That aside, Silas is also a constant performer of misdemeanors. Petty theft, simple assault, trespass, and disorderly conduct. Both 'in' and out of a grudge. His moral compass is a bit misguided, even though Silas may be 'the hero', in some cases during his childhood and adolescence, there is a chance his crimes may tip the scales in the wrong way at the end.

History:

His early childhood was almost completely filled with happy-memories. Silas grew up in a small suburban neighborhood where he lived just at the end of the newest rows of houses on the block. His favorite activity when he was young was to sword-fight his friends with sticks out on the road. He was neither terrible nor great at it, and often had a one-to-one win-loss ratio. However, these sword-fights and competitions would be over soon, as Silas' first experience with his power came when a drunk house-husband in a mini-van came crashing through one day.

The day started out as average as any other, Silas was out with his big-bad new stick and was currently in a 'life or death' match with one of his best friends in the middle of the road, when a mini-van came barreling down the road. Although his partner didn't even notice the car, Silas did, he pulled his partner out of the way of the car, but in the process lost his balance and fell right into the car. But the moment they struck, however, the car disappeared, and then reappeared about three yards in the direction it was heading. Because of the small collision being short and rather small due to the teleportation, Silas still received a few broken bones. None of the parents were there to see how it happened, so the kids spewing on about magic and disappearing cars fell on death ears. However, it was certain, that despite such a small child receiving a direct blow from the car, he would be alright.

This incident had awakened something Silas, something he would be sure not even to show his friends that had slowly grown up with him after the crash. Once he had been released from the hospital and all his bones healed, he eventually began to see if he could perhaps see if he could perform something like that again. This, however, only happened when used on smaller objects such as pens and papers. It took him years to be able to re-enact such a feat that he could move a car. However, once that feat was accomplished he began to be approached by people claiming that they had a school for people such as him. The thought of this actually excited Silas, and he agreed to transfer almost as soon as they explained it too him.

#1 Hands down.

Acacia had left the scene, this had caught Lance quite a bit off guard. He didn't expect this little development! Now he was alone with Ms. Coldhearted and the new guy, Arty he called himself. Well, it was certainly ballsy of the new guy to introduce himself to the group in such a manner! Even if he was only really talking to the dog and Lance. However, either way, this gave him Lance's admiration. He was very much welcomed to the little circle!

"Nice to meet you Arty, the name's Lance." The accent put off Lance a little bit, but as long as he was understandable things should be alright. Heh, wish I had an accent like that he thought to himself. This Arty guy seemed alright! He didn't recognize the name though, so chances are he wasn't going to be sharing dorms with him. Oh well, it looked like it would require some more waiting until Lance's dorm-mates would be revealed to him.

All the while, Terra's comment made Lance feel extremely uneasy. 'It's not polite to stare', Well it certainly isn't polite to steal my new pal either. You're probably why she left anyway! After that little burst of inside-rage, his brain turned it down a few notches and he was almost as calm as usual. However he made sure to avoid looking at Terra. Not that this would be a challenge, however, now that Arthur was here to talk to!
@Tail, sorry about that D8 How would small-scale vector manipulation work? Or would teleportation be ok?

Or Intelligence transference?(not the power bestowal part :l )
I am interested 8D May I claim Telekinetic force manipulation? Also, I think i am leanin towards protection from humanity.
