Roman was lucky it was only the boy at this point, or else he would have been quite embarrassed. When Annaliese appeared behind him he jumped about two feet in the air out of fear and bewilderment. He quickly set his clothes straight though, once Apollo landed back on earth. "Thanks! How nice of you to say, however the people doing most of the tent-work are those letting me set off the sparks and lights. They are the ones who make it visually appealing, I am just making the magic last" he replied. Still a bit jumpy. "Also, wasn't expecting this kind of company already. Didn't mean to offend, if I did." His breathing slowed down a bit, and what was once an erratic heart-rate was now only slightly above his average.

Roman quickly tried to straighten himself up more. He was wearing a bright orange dress-shirt with his suit, but for the most part everything else was black and white. Most sane people would agree that the color choice might be a bit ugly, Roman would agree with them. However he recently had some wardrobe malfunctions and orange was what stood out the most and screamed 'Hey, This is my tent'. As he prepared himself for more visitors, they arrived. An elderly lady and a young man entered the tent. Whether they were together or not Roman wouldn't know, however he gave Annaliese a quick glance and slowly moved away. As much as he would love to spend some of his time chit-chatting, he couldn't bear to look unprofessional or ignore them. Hopefully she would understand. While the tent stood and while people were interested, the charmer needed to charm.
Wow well i feel like my timezone has officially assfucked me. Hope i don't miss too much between sleep and school tomorrow. G'night guys!

EDIT- Well shiet it looks like im already bein bothered in the tent of minds and fortune. Im gonna pump out as good as a reply as i can before its too late but i suggest vanishing and going somewhere else if you wanna interact with someone else sometime soon.
Welp posted. Hope its ok if my guy is only 'really new' and not 'first day new' or 'wow pls hire me new'.
Roman barely managed to finish setting up before everything began to open up. Small silver trinkets were layed out all over his tent, each one with a unique touch to it. Some of the trinkets went on hands, others around necks. Some contained the standard zodiac symbols, while others random shapes and lines. Very few had anything of value, arguably none of them were actually worth anything. After all, value only came to them when they went through the hands of the charmer. Which was actually fairly often. When Roman first set up his tent and was able to start doing his job for others, he doubted many would be interested. However this was not the truth at all, and instead he already was at least decently popular. At least, popular enough to where he couldn't lounge around and act unprofessional or fear getting caught.

This day would be the third of which he had been truly at work. He had only recently gotten a new batch of odds and ends to lay about his tent. As stated earlier, he had barely managed to make it before people were allowed to flow in. So, after minutes of waiting around people started working there way over to him! The first person who gave him a visit was a young boy who seemed to be interested in a necklace with a symbol that didn't really stand for anything. Roman recognized it as a newer one he had already set out, it only had three horizontal lines running through the center of it but it seemed to be what interested the young boy the most. So, Roman began to go through the motions.

"You like what you see?" Yeah "Its yours if you like it, but you do know what tent this is right?" The charmer right? I wanted to get something for my mom because she wasn't able to make it. Do you think she would like this one? "I bet any gift from you would make her happy. However, I think I can give you a hand with this. Mind giving it to me for a second?" And the young boy gave it to him. Now Roman's ability didn't come with many, actually any, flashing lights. But that didn't mean he couldn't put on a show for his patrons! So, with a proper twist of fingers and the help of a few volunteers that worked with him throughout his day...

The lights flickered. Then shut off. But quickly came back! All focused onto Roman. Lights peered out of the trinket as it jumped into the air, and then quickly fell back in his hands. It felt warm, and the three lines going through the center gave off an eerie green light. One that a will-o-wisp might give off it found alone in the night. However, all of these effects quickly dissipated. But the smile on the kids face didn't after he left with his newly enchanted pendent. Roman couldn't give this show to everyone who walked by, after all, not everyone here believed in magic. Most believed in stage affects and the power of dramatic lighting. However, the enchantment he gave to lift his mothers mood after she got the gift was real. Even if to some people that kind of magic was rather dangerous and scummy, It made Roman happy to help others lift the spirits of loved ones.
I honestly don't know if you would use the word curvy to describe a horse though.
Curvy as a horse
Has a long face.
I don't mean to be the guy who says this...

I usually don't like most of the people in the cast in some rps i join but ima gettin a little hyped for this one. Everyone seems pretty awesome 8D Even Roman. I mean damn, Roman is just an amazing character all around. Amirite?

Name: Roman Evaan Sorien

Gender: Male

Age: 20

Role in the Circus: Charmer

Magic (If Any): Enchantments. Specifically, is able to give objects the power of suggestion, as well as a kiss from lady luck or fate, depending on whatever one might be more useful.

Reason for Joining Cirque de Noir: Came to give Madame Sombre a trinket to help out her business, and was offered a job he more than needed.

Past Life:

Roman was a simple child, with a simple family. His childhood was not one that had many outstanding moments or left him any phenomenal memories. His pals sometimes joked about how boring his life was going to be like as he grew up, and for the most part Roman would often believe them. However, boring was not something he had any qualms against. For him, normal was nice. After all, he had enjoyed his normal life for the most part! This was his life up til' college. The only thing that really stuck out to him or his pals was that when he gave people gifts, things worked out for them. He'd give his girlfriend a bracelet, and the next day she'd drop it and find a twenty laying right beside it. Gave a friend who just got dumped a watch, and later that evening he'd hook up with someone new. First thing she said? "Hey, thats a really pretty watch."

Roman never gave this much thought. However, he also never thought of many things. He never thought he would drop out of college. He also never thought he would be living paycheck to paycheck working his ass day and night just to get by. What he did think, however, was that his life wasn't going the way it wanted. And as if fate herself wanted to make his life a bit rougher and rub it in, he lost his jobs as well. However, the one thing he realized he hadn't lost was his ability to give a gift.

He thought he was insane at first, but after he managed to pay his rent with 175$ when he needed 250$ he started to come to terms with himself. He never thought that magic was real, thinking magic was real was like thinking that getting slapped across the face means 'she digs me'. He tried to start up a small business of his, using his 'talents' to make a living. By now his talents were much more polished and controlled. But the concept of it drove most of his customers off. The only real business he got was out of pity. The lack of patrons caused him to again lose his chance at a job, however word of his business did spread. Most took it as a joke, but Madame Sombre knew better.

Hey! Hope this is ok! If there are any problems ill try to fix em asap
