Cale listened to the Principal's ramblings. Something about faculty, how to go to teachers for help, no bullying policy, and the rest of the standard speech. He barely payed attention to it, however he payed slightly more attention to the black haired beauty. She didn't say much, and what she said was pretty generic. However he listened, mostly because it was nice to look at her. Damn, Look at her go! Well, Go talk anyway. Although Cale knew it was probably better to stop thinking with his lower half, he couldn't help but focus more on the girl instead of the speech. Oh well, he knew it didn't really matter. She wasn't giving out the passwords to classrooms or the secret hand-shake to get into the cafeteria. Nope, just the standard student speech.
The rest of the speech was still boring as ever. However it didn't last much longer then Cale had expected. Soon enough everyone was standing and applauding at her for reading her script, and then the students began to rise and head to wherever they needed to be. It certainly was beautiful day, when he was outdoors he felt the breeze brush his face and he enjoyed it, however that didn't stay on his mind for too long. He was back in school, so he needed to get into the school mentality. Well, unless something happened anyway. If something unfortunate was to happen during the school day, he could always find a way out and let the Executioner take to his calling. But until then, he needed to find out what classes he had.

Name: Amari Hoskins

Side: Leans towards Hero.
Personality: Amari, although he used to be somewhat cowardly, is beginning to become a more 'aggressive' person. Although he doesn't perform evil or mean acts, he is usually upfront about problems that may be occurring if they are serious. Smaller problems? He is more likely to beat around the bush, or let others beat if themselves if they are the ones bringing them up.
Biography: Amari was a single child who for most of his life wasn't aware of his special 'heritage'. His early childhood was that of a side-character. Not much stood out! His mother was a real estate agent and his dad a teacher. Together they were a little above middle-class, and he lived very comfortably. He wasn't too spoiled, but was given just enough to be more than content.
As a young boy, Amari's knowledge of conduits was somewhat limited. All he knew is that his parents viewed them as 'those empowered shits'. When asked about them, his parents couldn't say they knew much about what caused it or how people got it, but they did tell them about how dangerous they could be. He was taught that their words weren't usually honest, and that more often and not they meant to harm.
As he grew into a teenager, Amari began to second guess them. He even made a conduit friend! A girl who had fire as her element. They became very close friends as they grew up. By the time they were seniors, they were best friends. Amari knew about some of the prejudice people had against conduits, however when he was a senior he would truly understand how terrible it could be.
While they were hanging out, Amari's friend bumped into a few people who didn't take to kindly to their kind. And appearently, they had known Amari for a while! They were quick to drag her out of public and start tearing at her Although trying to do what she could to protect herself, she didn't want to actually hurt any of the bullies or fear getting in serious trouble. Amari, although somewhat weak, tried to do whatever possible to get them to stop without getting any form of authority involved. He even threw a few punches, which resulted in himself getting quite a beating. However, during this beating Amari noticed a few changes. Touching a tree gave him pulses of energy, and he started hitting harder. However, what broke the 'barrier' was when the attackers brought out the knives, and stabbed both of them. Before his friend would start to take this more seriously and bring out the fire, Amari acted first. At first accidentally, but then more purposefully, he began shooting wooden shards and bark at his attackers. His fists also became much harder, and it was then when he became aware he was a conduit.
While it brought his parents to tears out of fear and anguish, Amari couldn't help but feel more alive. He also felt a sense of purpose. When younger he always had his dreams of helping people, and now he could! Albeit with some caution and mistakes. And the need to keep a very low profile.
Power: Amari is able to manipulate wood.
Power Abilities:
Wood Blast - An extra powerful wood projectile that can be used often.
Growth - Is able to extend and alter the shape of his body and 'grow' it out temporarily. Also grants the body part(s) enhanced durability and a wood-like appearance.
Bark Grenade - Shoots out of a compact ball that explodes into many sharp wooden shards.
Merge- can combine himself with any nearby wooden objects(trees included) and use them both as a temporary energy source and use them as if they were a part of his body.
Other: 'Death by a thousand cuts' might be suitable. Also sorry if the backstory is kinda trash.

Hey Arg, i needa ask a QQ, all of our characters are still able to do the 'basic' conduit stuff like use some sorta melee-esque weapon altered by our power as well as partially turn into it, as well as the standard spray-type attacks? And then the power abilities are just everythin else?
