I play that game
I play on, what was it, "Epic" length mode, that way I actually have time to beat the crap out of Rome before they win in the Science Victory, Culture Victory, and whatever else there was. (Though I did win the Diplomatic Victory- nuclear weapons were used to cower everyone but Rome, and lots of money was used to keep Rome isolated from City States. I eventually just VOTED myself as the World Leader or whatever. I had THAT many votes.)

In every game i played:

-always a single wonderwhoring civ that has a score a few hundred ahead of mine
-civs that are supposed to be warmongers are pretty tame
-India (I always set him on for a challenge) gets beaten the crap out of by someone else before they even unleash nuclear doom
-whenever they survived they're still two eras behind everyone else
-(supposedly) warmonger civs build too many units to the point of negative 150 gpt and still in classical era when everyone else is in the industrial era
-"Your City Converted"
-"Great Library has been built in a far away land!" is always first
-use one engineer on a wonder, next turn, Wonderwhore has completed the same wonder because fuck you
-if Greece is there: "[Your city-state ally] has a new Ally!"
-wonderwhore typically too far away to even attack

I wasted a fuckton of time doing Civilization V.

But now i'm getting serious about joining, partly because all my other RPs are getting a little less interesting and active.

Hopefully i'll take some of the skills from wasting time on that game, while at the same time being logical enough to not be a ridiculously overpowered 4-planet nation in the future whose population density exceeds that of a neutron star per square kilometer.

Well then. thought the crow-bodied vampire as she began making her first observations. This brazen security guard, which I'm kind of surprised the heads at Orean Cause hasn't fired him long ago, has a thing for abusing people and taking in good doses of booze. It's quite obvious that his tolerance for alcohol is absolutely ridiculous, but he loved it anyway so a bottle of bourbon ought to be a bribery tool instead of a mind fogger. And he said something about that poor sod being lightweight and drunk-easy.

But before delving further, Catherine flew out for a moment, shifted in the alleyway, and came out again, this time as a black cat . Not exactly black, but a dark shade of grey. But still, she's now being a cat because plenty of people have a thing for cats. There were few things people could see with this cat: Siberian breed, with slightly trimmed fur, no name tag, red tie bows on her ears, ribbon of same color wrapped around her tail, and to finish it up, looking between its kitty and its adult age. All of these adds up to a fair, and fairly adorable feline creature.

Perfect.

And now Catherine walks back into the bar, nudging the door a bit before entering and then clutching and scratching the other boy's clothes. In a cute way.

This might help her lay out a few ideas for the coming days. They're not exactly evil plans, but they're not benevolent and selfless either.
