To clarify, is Harlan asking Charles or Aaron?
I'm not sure what you mean.

Charles had entered through the window Destiny broke (presumably), took ammo from the bag he threw in earlier, and acknowledged Aaron before Aaron spoke to him. Also, where does it reference that some of them went upstairs? Delilah is the only one who went upstairs; Aaron, Harlan, and Destiny are still downstairs.
Delilah is the only one upstairs. Aaron, Destiny, and Harlan are all on the ground floor. I see Charles did climb up, but he's interacting with stuff/people that are still downstairs.
User, question about your recent post. What ladder did you climb down? We were on the ground floor.
"Are you crazy?!" Aaron suddenly yelled as the sniper threw the grenade. "That explosion is going to-"

The ground seemingly shook as the grenade exploded. The street was briefly lit from the blast. Some of the nearby infected screamed at the light. Enraged, the infected began moving towards the source of the disturbance. The infected had not yet spotted them, but it was only a matter of time. Aaron gritted his teeth in rage. It seemed every time one of these survivors came along, the situation grew worse. He almost considered running away, but he'd feel bad if he left Delilah with these psychos. Then again, he'd probably die before it was morning anyway.
He reached into his pocket and tossed the gun back to the man from earlier.

"Have it back. Probably won't make a difference anyway," Aaron grumbled.
Aaron watched the ambulance drive off, amazed there were any working vehicles anymore. He stepped over to the duffel bag that the man had dropped off. He opened it and saw all the guns. He gently lifted the submachine gun out of the bag and examined it. He liked how very small and easy to manage it was compared to the shotgun, but he also assumed it must be much weaker. He dug a little deeper into the bag and found the ammunition for the gun. He stopped as he spotted the grenades. He carefully pulled one out and stared at it. These were too loud. They would only be useful if they were feeling very desperate.

Aaron returned the grenade and mp5k back into the bag, and pushed it out of the way. He turned to the man and paused. Should he return the gun? This all seemed to be a misunderstanding, but he wasn't sure if he trusted this guy yet.

He turned his attention back to the window. The infected always grew in number as the night dragged on; they'd have to block off the window before they returned. He looked around the room and asked to no one in particular, "Is there anything we can push in front of the window?"
Aaron turned away from the insane girl, feeling very disturbed. She was killing the infected with surprising ease, but he knew this would not last. The night had only just started; soon they would be unstoppable. He jumped as the gun fire began. He hurried back inside, worried a stray bullet would hit him. A thought crossed his mind and he swore under his breath. He turned to Delilah.

"We left the ladder down," He said. He wasn't too worried about the infected trying to get up, but he was worried that one of the survivors would see the ladder and try to get away with all the supplies. "You should go back up. I think we can handle ourselves down here," He lied. "I'll help you if there are infected in the alley. Just remember to not lower the ladder until morning."
Aaron took a step back in surprise. He quickly moved the shotgun out of the girl's face, but kept it ready. He stared at her, confused. Was this really a misunderstanding, or did she just not want anyone to get hurt? He glanced at the darkening sky outside. It was starting to get too dark; the infected could come out at any moment now. They had to get this over with quickly. Aaron sighed and lowered the shotgun.

"It's getting too dark. Let's go inside and talk about this," Aaron said. He walked across the room and picked up the gun the man had dropped. "Don't think I trust you yet," Aaron quietly grumbled. He turned to Delilah, "Do you think you can handle the girl's wounds?"
He froze when he heard knocking. He put the man's gun into his back pocket and raised the shotgun. He stepped back outside through the window and yelled out in surprise, nearly firing the shotgun. He aimed the shotgun directly into this new girl's head, trying to ignore the decapitated head. And then the dogs started barking. He almost felt like screaming in rage. How many more were there going to be?!
It seemed that these insane survivors were much more dangerous than the infected themselves.
Why do I have the feeling that at least one of us is going to die here?
Aaron accepted the shotgun and examined it while Delilah escaped into one of the rooms again. He wasn't very good with guns, but he had a vague idea. It took him a moment to confirm it was loaded and waited for Delilah. She returned with an odd crossbow. He didn't question it and quietly pushed open the door.

"Most of my supplies are downstairs," He heard her mumble. He didn't reply and slowly and quietly made his way down the ladder. Once at the bottom of the ladder, he made his way to the corner of the building and glanced around. He spotted the broken window. He cast another glance at the sky. It was really starting to get dark. He mustered up his strength and stepped in front of the broken window, shotgun raised and pointed into the opening. He noticed the blood covering the edges of the glass. He managed to spot the two people in the shop. He noticed one of them had a gun. He angled the shotgun towards him since the girl seemed defenseless.

"Hey, drop the gun!" Aaron yelled.
