Gem Knight fusions are a pretty good example of unique fusions. Like I think there is one that fuses monsters in the grave, is a trap, the fused monster gets a power boost, but then dies at the end phase. Neat traps or quick plays like that.
Hmm, I'm not too sure how Gakus' relationships with others are. He doesn't spend much time at places chatting it up with others . I assume whoever he knows will be people who regularly visit the inn, as well as the Doctor. Not sure what relationship PIs character Everett will have with Gaku, but in guessing it might not be too good because of his blunt/almost rude personality. But that could apply for a lot of characters. The Inn Keeper he will probably know very well, and if it's a NPC I'll have them have a love/hate relationship. Depends if we get a player character for the Inn. Other then that, assuming Eli didn't just arrive into town at the start of this RP, I'm guessing they kind of know each other.. Buuut probably don't care for each other's that much. Well, yet. But that entire part is up to you, Liri.

Other then that, I'm not sure who else has character that may just visit the place, so that relationship part would be up to everyone else. If anyone thinks of anything, pitch them to me I guess? I dunno :v

Also, think I've got most of the stuff for my character worked out. Going with Kind of unfortunate that their Miracle Fusion clone was never actually released, but ah well.

Clearly it's time to create your own fusion card. You can call it "SUPER CYBERNETIC COMBINATION FUSION!"

or something.
Alright, I decided to give it a chance. Here's what I got.

In-Game Spring appearance
Name: Gaku Yamamoto
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Birthday: Spring 7th
Role: Inn Worker

Likes
-Spicy food and sweet food. Doesn't really tell people about the latter.
-Music, top two are Rock and Classic.
-Animals, have a special place in his heart. But he doesn't show much affection when around others
-To follow up on this, Gaku likes cute things. Nobody knows this though, and he isn't so keen on letting others know.

Dislikes
-Veggies unless mixed with other food. Straight out vegetables he finds tasteless and boring.
-Working, would rather do nothing all day. Or play the guitar.
-Country music
-Thinking too hard about things he find stupid. Like puzzles and stuff.

Personality
At first glance, people tend to say Gaku has a meek appearance and the personality of a potato. Gaku can be a bit blunt. And by a bit blunt, I mean Gaku can be brutally honest. He tends to say what's on his mind, even if it can be a bit offensive or hurtful. Although usually he doesn't mean it to be that way, which causes him to be a bit confused when someone is hurt by his statement. To him, he's just telling the truth. It doesn't help that Gaku hates working and can be very lazy at times, which causes him to do his jobs halfheartedly and mess things up in the end. This has Gaku rub off on people the wrong way, and some may even see him as a deviant. If something is missing? Blame Gaku. If something is broken or unfinished? It's probably Gaku's fault.

But when he's not hitting the nail on the head, he is usually jamming out with the guitar. Gaku loves music, and wants to play for others, but sometimes has his doubts. It's not just music either, a lot of the time he has doubts about himself and on some days be a bit moody. Other then that though, Gaku likes animals and cute things, which tend to go hand in hand. However, he doesn't express this side of him much, and only shows affection for animals when alone.

If there is one redeeming trait about Gaku however, it's that he doesn't judge people. He knows how it feels, so he comes off as very accepting to others for who they are, or whatever problems people carry. Although this doesn't mean he won't tell you the brutal and honest truth if need be. The only problem is, people can't get past his tough/punk guy persona to notice it.

Background
Back when Gaku was young, he lived in a huge city with buses going back and forth, and the smoke rising up through the skies. Your typical, average pollution working city. His home life was fine, but at school he usually was tormented for liking cute or 'girly' things. Because of this, Gaku developed a punk-ish persona, and got in a lot of fights with people. This caused a lot of trouble for him in his school years, and you wouldn't be caught dead in detention without Gaku in the room with you. It didn't help Gaku was extremely blunt to others, which was usually the main ignition trigger to cause him to fight with others. His parents were extremely strict and old school with Gaku, which had him rebel a bit in his teenage years, too the point where Gaku begun to fail his schooling.

After Gaku graduated High School, he decided to move out from the city because of the bad reputation he carried, as well as the feeling of disappointing his parents. He just couldn't carry the burden anymore, and decided to go somewhere new and refreshing. He ended in Lily of the Valley, yet wasn't used to the town life it brought and because of that always came off a bit cold with others villagers. He moved into the local Inn, where he now works for the Inn Keeper as payment for staying there. His tasks involves cleaning the front while doing odd jobs here and there, even being sent to help out other stores at times. On his off days, he spends a lot of his time out and about, either playing music or taking a stroll past farms. One day, Gaku hopes he can become a musician and spread his love for music with others all across the world, but tends to doubt his own abilities.

Skills
-Even though he doubts himself, he is actually pretty fantastic with the guitar. Sometimes he just lacks inspiration.
-He's become a master at avoiding daunting tasks, and is pretty great at putting them off until the last minute. This however tends to cause his work to be a bit terrible.
-Due to all his years fighting in school, he can actually hold himself pretty well when fighting with someone else, even with his meek appearance.

Relationships
- Alex Garnet: They've worked at the local bar together before when the Inn Keeper sent him on one of his odd jobs. They've talked about work once or twice while Gaku was helping the bar, but outside of that they don't talk much. Gaku finds her a bit awkward when they're working together but doesn't really give it much thought.

- Elizabeth 'Eli' Stern: Since he lives at the Inn with her, Gaku sees Eli around a lot. They don't say much to each other except for the casual hi's and goodbye's, but sometimes when he sees Eli around he thinks she looks a bit troubled. Be it because she can't get a job or other matters, it strikes him a bit curious. He's willing to lend a ear for her problems, but decides it isn't for the best and chooses to avoid it.

- Everett Micheals: When you put a blunt man with a man of science in the same room, nothing exciting can come out of it. That's pretty much the case here, as listening to these two talk with each other is worse then watching paint dry. Other then that, Gaku think's he's not that bad of a guy, but can be a bit of a nerd sometimes with his 'big academic words' and gets bored because of it. The two don't go out of their way to talk to each other, but will talk every now and then when Gaku's feeling under the weather.

- Henry Manteel: TBD

- Isabelle 'Izzie' McKenzie: The only person in the entire town Gaku is actually friendly with, besides Starr and family. Izzie and Gaku have worked quite a few times together, either Gaku helping out at the Cafe or Izzie at the Inn. Like Eli, Izzie also lives in at the Inn, so the two frequently see each other even out side of work. They sometimes throw cute cheeky remarks at one another, and although he doesn't agree much with her prankster nature, he accepts it. It's the least he can do considering she accepts him a lot better than a lot of the townsfolk do. If Gaku isn't spending his time doing something by himself, he'll probably be seen with Izzie, either working or having a casual chat.

- Isis Thorne: TBD

Other
Spends a lot of his time at Flora Falls, Mount Edelweiss, and Glowing Fern Forest. Also has a mean poker face.

I am going to add in a bigger plot that slowly comes into play over the course of the game (well, not slowly, but gradually so I'm not just throwing something right at you guys.) Plus, there are going to be various special events and festivals to attend scattered throughout, so its not as Sandbox-y as other games like this are. Ill try and keep everyone entertained to the best of my ability, and am open to suggestion on how to keep this game interesting. (:

Alright, sounds neat, I might just give it a shot. Depends if I want to work on some Psychology credit or not.
The only problem about this is, as much as I'd love to join, without a plot a lot of Harvest Moon RPs tend to die out, or struggle to stay alive. Sandboxing isn't terrible when it come to something such as a video game, and I don't do many Sandbox RP's, but whenever I see one I always notice it just tends to fizzle out. It's just people run out of things to talk or write about, and it becomes more of a chore then exciting. Unless of course they're having a personal story go on with someone else, but after that resolve it becomes eh.

So, I want to join, I just want to know if we'll have some sort of plot enter the stage soon rather then later. Crazy billionaire guy wants to take over the town, towns people are conflicted with it, etc. Or some bad dudes run into town, cause problem, peeps gotta stop it. Maybe thief is about, people get suspicious of each other, or even the Harvest Goddess is like "I'm done." for some reason and the town just goes down hill from there. Lots of options. Just hoping that there will eventually be something we can work on.
At first I was going to say "Nawh, my character is fine. No way he'll die, yo'" but then you gave me the perfect idea. Not sure if it will happen, but it is a good just-in-case back up plan if it does. Also lets me flesh out my character more, so becomes a bit of a win-win.
Oh okay. I really just wanted to know about the doubling up deal, because I kinda just wanna role with a player character, and didn't want to be forced to play as a Key as well. Good stuff. I'll work on a character sheet and PM you later today.
The only thing I don't understand is the whole Key deal. Like, are we going to have to play two characters? Do we choose our key or is this Key a seperate character from our character? I know you said you can't be a Key and a Human on the site, but if nobody wants to be the Key then who will? Only thing I'm really confused about. Everything else I get a just about.

Also, welcome back. I have a 18 page paper due next week, and I need to cram a bit for some finals, so I know how you're feeling. But at least after next week it's summer time, and we should all in theory be mostly free.
Hey phones, are you still planning on going along with this? It seems like a lot of effort was put into the setting and what not, so I'd be surprised if it just dropped off during the interest check phase.

Still mildly interest in this btw.
