Great, one more and I'll make the OOC!
The year is 2028, eight years after the end of the five year conflict that was the Ethereal invasion. Half of the human population is either dead of missing. 20,000 people were saved from abduction and all of them have either advanced genetic modifications or psionic abilities. These abilities include everything from invisibility, to telekinesis, to super strength, to human flight. All of these "Transhumans" have been allowed to return home, however the X-Com project is now used as a police force to keep the dangerous Transhumans at bay and to keep humanity safe.
It is illegal for countries to use recovered alien technology to create there own Transhumans and the penalty for trying is a unanimous declaration of war form all nations of the world on the perpetrator nation. This has not yet happened. However many terrorist groups have gotten there hands on alien tech and are striving to create their own human weapons. There are rumors that the children of a Transhuman will inherit their powers, but no child has yet grown enough to prove or disprove this assumption.
Some Transhumans have become heroes, helping everything from local police forces to international X-Com squadrons keep the peace. Others see their abilities as an opportunity to prey on the weakened world, they become everything from common thieves to international terrorists. With the world rebuilding, crime and anarchy rule in cities across the planet. Governments struggle to keep order and most of humanity views Transhumanity as a threat.
We will take on the role of heroic to antiheroic Transhumans, however none of us are "evil." Feel free to create a strong character but no god-modding. I don't want to see a bunch of Superman clones running around. Keep your powers reasonable. Also this will be a mature RP so use of harsh language, drugs, sex, and violence are all acceptable to a point. Anyway this is just an idea I've been having, if I get enough interest I will start the OOC. If not, oh well I tried.

Ok guys, I've been really busy lately but I'm going to make an effort to keep this going. I wanted a co GM in the first place but since there is only like four of us left i guess we could all work on it. So I'm thinking we could start a new thread and reboot this since we never really got anywhere in the first place. We'd have to put out another interest check and go on a recruiting run as well. Also we could set up a "GM council" in a pm convo for us all. We would vote on where the story goes from there. And with more than one GM it would be easier to keep everything going. Thoughts?
