You do realize stereotyping and having prejudice are two different things, right? Just because an elf, let's say, thinks he's better than a dwarf doesn't mean he thinks he's better than an elf of the female persuasion, but may think that the stereotype of the brainy brunette as appealing.
It's not even as if Dext says there is no sexism; he says it just is has never been an issue. Making the assumption that it has never existed, even in a single individual, simply because he says these fictional people have never had an issue with it is a fallacy on its own.

EDIT: Skys and I are also working on our character, btw. :P

Then there's the culprit's own reason for doing this..." His sentence had trailed off as he bit down on his thumb nail; too many questions and there not being enough answers led to her mind trailing on to any number of possible explanations for all that was happening, but even she knew that wondering could only do so much.

He snapped back to attention with a small glance at his conversation partner. A flush came over his cheeks before coughing and looking away. "I suppose I will come along... but I do have some associates who would be willing to join us; the aforementioned Seyour, as well as one of the crystala. The former I know would not appreciate being left out of the hunt of the thing that killed those few close to him, and the latter, well, this city isn't exactly receptive of any being from Talze Utera lately, so I'm sure he wouldn't want to be left here alone. Considering we've barely gotten 4 posts in a month (if that) and it's been like that since well before Guild fall, and most of the posts seem to be from the same people, I think it's safe to say that all avenues of revitalizing the game are pooched. This was like the third incarnation of Nova over a 2 year period, so I think it's time to move on and meet new faces.

It also probably doesn't help that us closing an RP is what sparks this renewed interest, only for everything to lose steam hardly a month or two after... Four iterations in the span of two years is the sort of thing that means the RP's stability was fragile to begin with...

We did have a good go at it, and it was fun while it lasted (I still remember when we had those large chat room gatherings; i crai erryrtim 2). I'll probably stay subscribed to this dead thread too just so I'll keep those memories (have I passed the sentimental boundary yet?).
