Reina frowns at the tone he was using with Ptelea. It seems she didn't mind, but Reina certainly did. "Hey, maybe let up on her? She hasn't been having the easiest time. Look at her face." She says softly, gesturing to the girl. "Her arms out of place too."

"Kind of hard to when they have bats and you have to live with them." Reina comments, sitting in a chair. "And of course. I care about her." She shrugs, leaning back.

Ptelea giggles and runs over, hugging him "hi! We're running away!"
Dem blinks. "You sure that's a smart idea kid?" He glances at Reina. He snorts. "Are you planting ideas into her head? "

"When she's getting the crap kicked out of her, yeah maybe." Reina looks at Dem crossly. "She's the one who brought it up. I'm going with her though. To keep her safe." She waves her hand dismissively at his sour comment, explaining the situation. "We were both suffering in that home."

Reina eyes the nurse but remains silent. She didn't want to upset Ptelea, but hoped the nurse wouldn't give them too many problems. She follows the two into Dem's room.

"How'd you get money?" Ptelea asks, opening the door to the hospital. She hums and walks to the counter, smiling at the nice nurse.

"I've been sneaking dollars from the lady. I also had some from when I moved there. It's only like, $14 though." She explains, glancing at Ptelea. She falls silent as they approach the nurse.

That sounds great, Reina thinks to herself as she quickens her pace to keep up with Ptelea. "I have some money so we'll be able to pick something up."

"Oh, okay!" Reina blinks up at the tall buildings. She glanced back down at Pterea and let her lead the way. "We should talk to Dem, and rest for a bit. Does the hospital have decent food?" She asks her friend softly.

They had been walking for awhile now, and her feet were a bit sore. She hadn't been out this long in awhile. "How much longer do you think?"

"Oh wow! He can't be that bad then, if you've known him that long." She noticed how Pterea was reacting every time she mentioned her brother. She frowns a bit. "Don't worry, we're going to find Ambrose. I promise." Reina pats her back softly as they walked.

"Oh, that's good then! I'm glad he likes to see you." Reina nods as Pterea explained.
