The man nods and listens as the siblings spoke. "Very well." He starts the van goes to drive out to the locations given.

Hunter holds his wrist out as the fellow associate unlocked his cuffs, and watches them as they did the same for Brianna.

"Yes, I have to admit, I have been a little curious about you for that reason." Marik follows her gaze and admires the peace of the river. "Unfortunately there are many things you can't learn by observing a person who speaks to no one." He looks back to her. "If you so loath the company of other people why stay in a forest where two groups lie? There are many other, emptier forests nearby, I am certain."

Nadia pauses and weighs his question. She glances at the river before replying. "Just kind of... stopped here. There's a town not too far off. And the forest is usually quiet. Where I am, anyways." She leans down on her side and looks up at him.
A member of the squad snatches the laptop on the way out. They all get ready to go.

The leader pats her head comfortably. They always felt bad when kids got involved, but a jobs a job.
"People are troublesome in a number of ways," Marik shrugs indifferently, "their acceptance is hardly an issue." He looks over her. "You don't seem too mind so much though. Why? Have you undertaken your own lot of spying?" he smiles a little as he repeats the word she used.

The Boss is unsure for just a moment, wondering if Ambrose might seek to contact his friends in a way that would undermine his own plans or else find out something he shouldn't. He calmed himself with the fact that the laptop had very little on it and that Ambrose only wanted it for his sister. He was a boy obsessed with making sure the one he loved was safe. "Of course, Ambrose. It's not a problem at all. Anything for you, my son." With that, he texts the new instructions to the rescue team. Bring the little girl back to the facility. Once she's away, make sure that Brianna and Hunter are set free and given ample care for their efforts today. Both of them should be taken back to Offsite Lab 32a for the time being.

Brianna gives up trying to resist, knowing that it was pointless.

Nadia watches Marik as he speaks. "When needed, maybe. I often watch your little patrols come through." She shrugs, glancing back at the river. "It makes it easier to stick to myself."

The leader reads the message quietly and nods. He leans down to pick Ptelea up and lead the squad, Hunter, and Brianna out. The others would put the two scientists in the back of the van and Ptelea would ride up front with him.

Hunter followed along without a struggle at this point.
"And mine is Marik. It is good to finally know your name," Marik would have offered his hand to shake but realises that would have been quite a comic scene, shaking the flipper of a seal. He looks away at her comment of spying. "It is... Not really like that..." He tries to think of a better word. "A more apt description might be... Observing. People are rarely their true selves when you speak to them outright."

"Ah... I only have good intentions," The Boss waves his cane around nonchalantly for a moment, observing its reflection in the window. "I mean, you have enemies after all. Who knows what dangers may come?" At Ambrose's attention to the laptop, he nods and heads for the door. "Your sister is about an hour drive for me, according to my people. She will be at your side as soon as possible."

"Clearly not." Brianna sighs as one of the members comes to put handcuffs on both her and Hunter.

Nadia laughs as he tries to correct her. "Ah, very well. True enough I guess." She eyes him as she props herself up with ther flippers. "Might want to be cautious on who you observe. People aren't always... accepting."

Hunter felt himself cuffed and begin struggling. "I can't believe we let them find us." He snorts, glancing at Brianna.

The leader pats Ptelea and nods. "Yes, little girl. We will." He lies, not knowing the Boss's next orders after they apprehend the girl.
Nadia pauses and looks at him. "Nadia. That is my name." She says, deciding he was trustworthy enough. She raises her head and looks at him
"Ah yes. Spying. Learning little things about people without them knowing."

Hunter drops Ptelea and holds his hands up as the squad came in. "I thought we lost them!" He protests, looking the leader in the eye.

"Nobody move! We're here to save the girl." The leader points his prop at Hunter, seeing how hr had been holding Ptelea. "It's okay, honey. We're here to save you." He says, feigning good intentions.
Nadia calms slightly as she recognizes his voice. It was that Rabin that had stopped by awhile ago. She nods, pushing herself back into the water. She swims down the river and then pops her head to look at him directly. "There's a lot you don't know about me," she states calmy. Not a lot of forest dwellers have seen her shift before. "You like watching people often?"

Hunter hands the tooth over and nods, watching her closely. "Well, I got the job done. It's a bit hard to make all procedures prim and proper when your subject struggles," he states. He felt Ptelea curled up next to him, weeping, as he held her up.

The leader of the group reads their message and motions the others to begin. They slam the door open on the three, pointing the fake guns at Hunter and Brianna.
Nadia finishes the fish in a few bites, as her leopard seal form was much bigger than any of the river fish. She licks her mouth clean quietly and sits for a moment. Her eyes began to skim the land and bank near her. Her eyes narrow as she spots Mariks form aways off, not realizing it was him. She scents the air momentarily, feeling cautious.

Hunter nods in approval as he grasps the baby tooth in the pliers, ignoring Ptelea's cries and whimpers. Maybe a few years ago it would have bothered him, but by now...
"There we are. Brianna-" he turns to give the tooth to her and noticed she had distracted herself. He looks at her crossly realizing how much Ptelea was affecting her. "Brianna, come here."

The makeshift rescue squad was waiting outside the room, with fake guns. They were going to storm the room and chase Hunter and Brianna out when they got the proper signal.
Nadia grasped a decent sized fish in her mouth, and rose to the surface to eat it. Raw fish didn't usually bother her so long as she was in this form. She swims along to bring herself to the shallow exspanse, still oblivious to Marik. For the moment. She goes to consume the fish.

Hunter grunts as Ptelea struggles, knowing it would just make it worse for the girl. He kept pulling, amd after a moment he felt the give of the baby tooth in the pliers. "There we are," he says calmy, going to remove the tooth entirely.
Nadia moves her body through the water. She hadn't been in her animal form in awhile and it was nice to stretch her flippers, so to say. Her eyes glanced at the fish that swam away from her, and she dove to go after a few. The current wasn't too strong at this part of the river. She had no idea Marik was above, watching.

Hunter just holds the pliers up and waits for Ptelea to open her mouth wide enough. As she wailed he went to remove an inscisor.

Jayden takes her hand and shakes it firmly. He smiles warmly at her before turning to head to the healer's tent. He had a bad feeling but decided checking in on Elauna was a better idea. He didn't know she was out in the forest.
