Bump up, got two interested already. Let's see how many we can get.
Jade motioned the beast into motion, doing her best to focus on her task at hand. Already she was losing energy and was fighting to keep everyone connected. She followed Al's lead as far a she could but the creature refused to forward past a certain point, instead pacing back and forth nervously. "Stay here buddy." Jade slid down to the ground and placed a hand on his side, looking over to where Al and Allen were. "I've only got enough energy left for one shot at him, if at all. The only problem is I can't get close enough to do any real good."
Expanding my search for interest in the General interest thread.

Welcome fellow RolePlayers to the game of Future Now, a virtual reality game designed for the SpiritPilot Gaming system. The SpiritPilot, or SP for short, is designed to intersect the signals your brain sends to your body and instead send them to your avatar within the game. When the game began over a year ago it was the first of its kind, considered to be a breakthrough in the gaming community. People from every corner of the planet, all ages and groups alike banded together to play this VR roleplaying game where you could be anything that you wanted. Unfortunately the AI behind the creation and running of the game made it so perfect and life like that people began to forget the real world. Addicted to the game, they spent less and less time out in the real world until eventually they stopped waking up all together. Blackout was created in order to save the players from themselves, the Peace Keepers to combat the free thinking 'terrorist' group. Once Blackout was winning, now they struggle to get ahead of the new Peace Keeper forces created by their fallen allies. Will Blackout succeed in freeing people from the clutches of a selfish AI or will the Peace Keepers destroy them first? It's up to you, choose your side and take up arms in the fight for Lumin.

In simple terms it's a war for humanity, and a bit of new age cops and robbers. It takes place in a game called Future Now, more specifically a city called Lumin. Blackout is a gang of hackers fighting the system in order to shut the game down. Of course the game is home to an AI who doesn't take lightly to people destroying it. Everything in the game is futuristic from the design and material of the buildings to the hover boards and flying cars. While the types of weapons available in the game aren't considered advanced, they have been remodeled to fit the theme of the game. Energy swords, Force-field shields, laser bows and other unique weapons are available for use and possibly customization. A magic of sorts(a hack used only by Blackout members) is also available for gameplay. Any questions are to be directed to either BoredBrain or myself, you may PM us or leave comments in this thread. Any and all questions are welcome so that we can address things that we might not have thought of during our initial planning stages.

This interest check has been posted in both the General area but both I and Boredbrain(Other GM) wish this to be closer towards the Casual standards of writing. Questions on what that means to us are welcome.
"Just because its your mother's class doesn't mean you won't get into trouble at some point." Sky had an amused smile on her face as she crossed her arms and stepped closer to Juneberry with her friends. "He was a jerk any ways, only a matter of time before I go to him." She glanced over at the girls Juneberry was sitting with. "Sorry, it's been a pretty busy day so I don't think we were properly introduced." Holding her hand out to the girl she recognized as Kitty and smiled at the girls whose name escaped her. "I'm Skylar Brookes, feel free to call me Sky."

I'm not going to let this go down without a fight. I don't know what to post but anything is better than nothing right?
Clary took Isaac's hand to steady herself, closing her eyes and taking deep breaths to calm her stomach. "Thanks." She groaned while slowly opening her eyes, adjusting slowly to the strange world around them. "It's got to be some sort of optical illusion or drug or something."

"Wrong." The voice echoed down the hall seeming to come from nowhere and disappear into nothingness. It sounded familiar but it took a moment for Clary to place its owner. "Cara? Is that you? Where are we, what happened? I heard you scream and..." She stopped suddenly, catching sight of Cara just behind Isaac. "Glad you all could make it." Cara spoke calmly as if the room around her didn't exist or bother her. Her clothes had changed as well, instead of wearing normal street clothes she had on a strange, short dress that one might see at a real Halloween party. Clary smiled nervously, looking from person to person. "This is a cool party trick, you've got to show me how its done." Cara smiled but it was dark and cruel, filled to the brim with ill intentions. "Sure, you just have to live long enough."

Awesome! Anyone else? XD
Just a friendly bump back to the top for the weekday crowd.
