The air in Sky's lungs began to dwindle and the pitch dropped with it, quickly dying out and leaving the girl gasping for breath. Lack of oxygen forced her to her knees, palms flat against the hull of the ship to steady herself. She turned her eyes toward the writhing beast and growled. "Stay down you stupid mutt or I'll do it again." Naturally she was bluffing, quite positive that she wouldn't be able to provide the same result, but still she would try it if the creature attacked again.
