Alanya's head swung around to face the newcomer, this evening full of more surprises than she'd ever considered before. Her ears drooped submissively at the slightly bigger group, nerves getting the better of her. "Hello." She averted her eyes to stare at the ground beneath her feet, seeming to shrink before the pair.

Sky smiled down at Jack with relief. "You pull something like that again and I'll be the one to kill you." Her laugh was flat and thick with exhaustion as she turned her gaze toward the shore. "Worst case scenario I might have enough energy to level the playing field. Human eardrums are a lot weaker than I expected." Personally she wanted to crawl into a bed and sleep for hours but the adrenaline pumping through her veins had her wired and ready to fight whatever came at her, whether it be human or Vitus alike.
I'll post tomorrow after school as well as start my work on Classes Collab.
The only dares anyone could give me were 'lick your own foot' or 'suck some ___' (Imma let your imagination do the work)... High schoolers.... You'd think they'd be better at this.
Lillian might have missed a creature so small had it not left its hiding place among the shadows to follow her. She wasn't quite sure how much safer around her he would be than where he had gone unnoticed before, then she realized a shadow would not offer protection other than a place to hide. Try not to get yourself stepped on, I'd hate to be the one to kill you. Trying to step carefully was no small task for a creature her size, a reason why she had to consider stopping before plowing down one of the freaks. Wouldn't you like to know? She snorted indignantly, raising her head and looking down at the thing as if she were better than it.
Sorry guys, having a bit of a rough time. Let me take a quick read and see what I can write up before going to bed.
Kalina's eyes softened as she listened to her sister speak, fighting her own swell of emotions as her hand waivered. "And this guy?" She motioned toward the wizard with less aggression than she hard started out with. It was possible that she assumed the worse but in her defense it was her family that she was overreacting about. Slowly she relaxed her arms, allowing the bow to point toward the ground instead of at the boy's head.
