Ruby tried to resist as she thrashed about unprepared for Kaika's Blue Truth counter and when she was touched on her forehead she gasped out in pain and tried to create another blade but the chains seemed to restrain her newfound magic. Instead she just stayed put but hoped her pendent would save her.

Yang and Blake were torn between helping Ruby or letting Kaika harm thier team leader but watching Kaika they saw she was helping them get thier true leader back.
