Subject Six suddenly heard an influx of voices over the intercom system, pressing her hands to her ears. Now that she had lost her sight, her hearing was impeccable and all this noise was overwhelming. She let out a slight whimper and slid down her cell door which was still locked, waiting until the voices slowed down. Soon they began dying out, but there was running… heavy footfalls running past her door and beyond. ”Hey!” she cried in a panic, believing she was begin forgotten as people escaped. ”Please, please let me out!” her muffled shouts came from behind the door, hitting it as hard as she could with her fists and shoulder, gripping the door handle and jerking it repeatedly and hoping for new results.
Keela’s eyes widened as Blake extended his tongue to sniff the area. Well, he certainly does have some tricks. she thought to herself, tilting her head in curiosity when he mentioned another woman. ”Odd, I haven’t seen…” she started when a faint siren went off as a girl fell into the water near them. The girl and water were on her right, the siren having blared somewhere a few miles to her left. Keela was confused, but luckily Blake took action and rescued the girl from the water. Bringing her ashore. ”Here, lay her down,” Keela instructed, going into healer mode. When she could, Keela listened for the girl’s heartbeat and could hear it thumping slowly in her chest. Keela began CPR, pumping the girls chest and hoping for the water to sputter from her lips before she turned blue from lack of oxygen.
Sorry I don't have much to post for a human during the night time =P
Evelyn soon fell asleep in her rocking chair, food gone, crumbs remaining. Her quilt haphazardly wrapped around her thin frame. She was sleeping with her lips parted, a curl resting on her nose and the fire crackling faintly, it and the oil lamp flame the only lights on in the entire home. The book she had been reading had been precariously perched on her knee and it now succumbed to gravity and fell to the floor with a thud. A hiss of wind broke the peace of the room as Evelyn inhaled sharply through her nose, eyes wide as she blinked and looked around for what had startled her awake. Her eyes finally came to rest on the book as it lay on the floor, and she rubbed her eyes, tired. ”Well,” she sighed, “Best I woke anyway.” She unwrapped herself and stretched, bare feet walking the cold wood floor to put on more wood to keep the fire on all night, and placing the book back in its place on a shelf. She took her plate into the kitchen, wiped it off, and then hesitated at the door to the bedroom. Her floral bed covers were made, lacey dust ruffle untouched. Everything looked positively perfect. And stark. And cold. She rubbed her arms at the loneliness before turning and going to her white chaise, grabbing the quilt once more on her way. She laid down firmly on the piece of furniture that was place just below a window bleeding moonlight into the room, covering up once more and drifting back to a dream state for the night.
Keela waited patiently as the man looked downward slightly, suddenly looking quite forlorn. She felt the corners of her own lips tug down slightly in empathy, as she wondered what he was thinking. Perhaps he had lost someone close to him too, like she had lost her mother. She listened intently when he started to speak of his tribe and their power, but he quickly drifted off from it. She was about to say she understood he’d probably been through a terrible experience and she understood completely, when he asked about her friend. ”My friend?” Keela asked, confused as to whom he meant. ”You’re the first I’ve met on this island,” she said slowly, looking around them, wondering if he could see spirits and there was one around her, although she herself could not sense it.
Faris turned as someone said her name, smiling brightly at the handsome guy with rather pretty hair and deep eyes. She nodded. ”Yes, I’m Faris,” she said, starting to explain about the fire situation when another rather good looking guy walked up and said it wasn’t a good idea. Faris pouted, knowing a fire would probably get the party shut down just like he said, but she was always in an arguing mood. ”Damn, children of Gods are good looking, aren’t we?” she said, before looking surprised. ”I said that out loud,” she told herself, again out loud before blinking a few times as if trying to find her train of thought. ”Ah yes! Mr. D told me the only thing I couldn’t do was start a fire. But why? Why must we have all these rules and regulations?” she began moving her free hand around, brow furrowed in concentration as she explained. ”Freedom gentlemen, freedom is where we do whatever we want. Sure, whatever feels good might not always be the smartest thing, but how can one be old and wise if you were never young and stupid, huh? Tell me that much at least,” she paused, raising an eyebrow as if she was making more sense than the smartest professor at Harvard. ”Look, I’ll tell you what, let’s start like, a fire to roast hotdogs and… and what are those little white cloud things again?” she frowned, pressing two fingers together as if she were squishing something, staring intently at her two fingers for a pause. ”Oh yes, marshmallows! We need marshmallows,” she said, giving Gaspard an expression of her lips scrunched over to the side in expectation, waiting for a fire and marshmallows. ”I’m sorry, what were your names again? I’m Faris… And I’m reckless.” She smiled, winking at Connor since he had said not to encourage such recklessness. Tonight he would probably not get his way if Faris had a say.

Welp, anybody can feel free to interact with Faris to keep her from burning things.
Faris shrugged a little when Jessica mentioned Eli, having no idea who Eli was. Oh wait it was probably the ‘Aphrodite kid’ Mr. D spoke of about being so sneaky. Sounded like someone she would get along with. She was slightly taken aback with the other girl told her she wasn’t a brat, raising an eyebrow and not sure how to react or feel as she rambled on about Faris being beautiful and proud of her before kissing her. Faris looked weirded out surely as Jessica smiled and walked away, leaving the Ares girl wondering what the heck had just happened. ”Not even my mom ever said those things,”Faris mumbled out loud, confused, and shaking her head slightly. The words were comforting and lovely to hear but she had no idea how to feel about affection. It wasn’t like she had been shown much in her life. So, Faris tried to push it to the side of her mind, clearing her throat and tucking a few stray strands of her hair back behind her ear. Drinks, yes, let’s have drinks she thought to herself before blowing a good amount of air from her lungs through her lips heavily. She reached over, grabbing a cup and filling it. She drank deeply, almost finishing half a glass in one gulp. She was known back home for being able to hold her liquor well, although she did get a temper when drunk. Only if someone was an ass though. For the most part she was a happier, nicer version of her normal self until someone ticked her off, and then all she wanted to do was fight.

It didn’t take long before Faris had downed a couple more glasses within an hour, and was now just acting buzzed, laughing too much, cheeks rosy, and a smile unable to be moved from her face. She was chatting with some of the new campers like herself, telling them stories of her debauchery from back home. Stolen merchandise, fights she’d won, street races in the middle of nowhere before outrunning the police. She loved how they ate it up, but she was wanting a change in scenery. She waved bye to them before moving out to the small sea of bodies now dancing and moving between them, having fun and shouting for someone to start a fire while giggling, just to break the one rule she’d been told not to do. It was just too tempting for her.
