Enough for a family band, duh
I would, but not as much for a blind girl to respond to as some others =P
Keela listened sadly as Blake told her about how he had lost his entire tribe because of the humans. It sounded just awful. What was the point in such senseless violence and slaughter? She could hear the pain and sadness in his voice, see it in his sagging shoulder sighs. ”I’m so sorry, Blake,” she said, wrapping her arms around his shoulders and hugging him, side of her head resting on the back of his shoulder, eyes closed. She didn’t have the words to make it ok, so she hoped a hug would help.

She'll prefer the soft hugs of the young woman trapped in a little girl's body? ;D

That didn't sound creepy at all, lol. She'd still probably prefer Shin's hugs, but sure- hugs all around! :D

Is our blind cyclops going to mate with the FrostyFire snake of the group? o:

Ha after getting to know Shin a bit better, doubtful XD
I agree with, passing some sort of power trait onto offspring, probably like a 1 in 5 chance they get nothing, but never the exact same power as the parents. Probably just a form. Kind of like Cyclops and Havok in the X-men series, brothers with similar mutations but different.

Likes: French vanilla lattes, fuzzy socks, charm bracelets, kissing in the rain, chocolate, cute baby animals

Fears: The dark, being alone, losing, giving speeches, being embarrassed in a public area

Personal Goals: She has no idea

Personality: Fallon is one of the most empathetic and caring girls you'll ever meet. She genuinely worries when others aren't happy or hurt and does her best to fix it. She is incredibly indecisive though, and unsure of herself in almost everything; a big second guesser. She can also be easily intimidated and manipulated by those bigger and more in charge than herself. She is also her own worst critic, causing her to be very attention driven (if someone gives her a compliment, she will repeat it in her head all day to feel good about herself).

Bio

Fallon grew up grew up with a father who is the creator of the programming system almost all accounting companies use in their offices. He's always at the office and working late as the CEO, but his wife, Fallon's mother, never had to work because of it. Her mother Amy is very snobbish and quite the gossip. She spent almost every day yelling at the house help and pampering herself. Both of her parents cheat on each other frequently, and they pretend to not know about it. Fallon grew up as an only child, with her nanny taking care of her much more than her parents. She has always felt rather invisible to her parents, and accepts it rather than fighting for attention, though her lack of attention did lead her to the personality she has now where she wants everyone to like her. Deep down she thinks if she is perfect then her parents would notice her.
One day when she was 9, Fallon was crying outside in the garden as her parents drunkenly fought in the kitchen. She could barely overhear that it was about her mother’s drinking and her father never being home so what was she supposed to do with all her free time anyway, when Fallon heard a soft mew. She looked up to see a beautiful black cat with striking green eyes. Just seeing the cat made her feel better and Fallon reached out a shaky hand for comfort, to which the daemon gladly purred and rubbed against her fingers. Fallon gently grabbed her, hugging the cat to her, only for the cat to speak to her that she was much nicer than her parents. Rather shocked, Fallon began a conversation with the cat, learning what little she does now about daemons and Iris.
Fallon kept her gift a secret though, keeping Iris as a pet after contracting with her when the bakenko explained to her how it worked (she got 8 months of Fallon’s life simply because of her ignorance of such dealings). Fallon did research when she had the time about the subject, but well, she had other things to do too. And she kept Iris’s gifts of speech and such hidden from her parents pretty well. That was until one night when one of her mother’s drunken sloppy rages sent her to throw a vase at Fallon. Iris jumped off the couch at it, knocking it out of the air and hissing at Fallon’s mother. Fallon then proceeded to grab Iris and ask if she was alright, and the cat did respond perfectly, like a human, that she was fine. Well, Fallon’s mother might have been drunk, but she wasn’t stupid enough to forget it, and neither was the house staff. Thinking her a freak, and her cat too, her mother insisted she seek professional help or get put away in an asylum just to avoid embarrassing her and her father. Fallon had known about Aulani Academy through researching and said she’d go to a school where they were sure to beat the crazy right out of her, so her parents agreed.
Her parents still believe their daughter is insane but they just tell people she’s touring Europe at the moment, while Fallon attends Aulani.

Keela’s smile faded as he trailed off, obviously thinking of his people and homeland. She nodded when he said it was all he could do, reaching up and touching the wound herself and feeling no blood. She’d check later for a scar, but it seemed Blake had indeed done a great job of helping her. She sat cross legged next to him as he talked more, more than he had since they had met really. ”You don’t have to tell me if it’s too painful, but… why are you here? What happened to your family?” she asked, concern on her face as she did truly care, placing a reassuring hand on his arm, as if to say she would never tell a soul and he could trust her.
