RomanAria said you all will probably laugh at my half-latin half-english dialogues.

Nope cause I know no Latin =P
Evera had found herself busy reading on her long flight to Japan. For some reason she could never bring herself to sleep on planes. Especially over water. Perhaps her spirit was put at ill ease when over vast expanses of liquid. She had no idea. But by the time she reached her destination she was exhausted and ready for a nap. A bus was supposed to be taking her to this supposed school, so hopefully it would be easier to sleep on. Although, nothing seemed as comfortable as a bed at the moment.

She rolled her suitcase behind her once getting through the airport, and headed outside, stretching in the unfamiliar air. She wore a simple, thin loose sweater and some jeans, knee high slouchy boots completing her comfortable travel look. She wasn’t wearing any makeup either, but had her brown thick hair down and ran her hand through it lazily.

She had to admit, coming to a different country was intimidating. She knew no one here. Not a word of the language either. She thought the idea of the mountainside they were supposed to be travelling to was romantic though, and if nothing else this could be somewhat of a vacation until her studies had to get serious.

With these thoughts in her mind she finally spotted the bus and a rather thin boy with flamboyant hair about to board. ”Getting on board?” Evera asked the guy, smiling and finding a storage door on the outside of the bus to toss her large bag into. After having done so, she brushed past him with a friendly smile and climbed on, finding a seat in the middle and getting comfortable. Well, it appeared she was the only one besides the other man if he was coming to show up so far. Oh well. She was sure others would be arriving momentarily.
”Yes moma, I got everything,” Dixie said in her thick southern accent. She was in a taxi, talking to Farrah on the phone. Though Farrah wasn’t exactly her mom, legally she could be called such, and Dixie had taken to calling her ‘mom’ not too long after the adoption was completed. ”Well, it’s big,” she said in response to her mother asking about the city. The shy girl used her free hand not holding the phone to play with the hem of her dress, cowboy boots shifting against the dirty floor board mats beneath them. She cleared her throat, looking out the dingy window, soft, unsure gaze in her chocolate brown eyes while taking in her new city. Her new home of sorts. It certainly wasn’t the town of 1500 in Tennessee she was used to.

”Almost there,” said her driver in a voice that sounded like it had been roughened by years of tobacco clawing at his vocal chords.

”Thank ya,” she said in a tone higher pitched than what she spoke to her mother in, her voice rising whenever she was uncomfortable. Looking down at her lap again, she heard her mom ask if she was listening. ”Sorry moma, I got distracted. Look, I’m almost ta my new… home I think. So I oughta go. I’m sawrry,” she said, swallowing hard as she hoped she didn’t offend Farrah. Her mother said she understood though and that she loved her before telling her to call when she could and hanging up. Dixie said goodbye and hung up, quickly shoving the phone into one of her bags that sat next to her. She lifted a hand to her lips, chewing her thumb nail between her teeth, and letting her slightly wavy brown hair fall into her face. The best thing about long hair was letting it hide you in her opinion.

”Here,” said the same gruff voice, pulling up to one of the biggest homes Dixie had ever seen.

”Wow… I get ta live here?” she whispered, overwhelmed a bit as the driver ignored her and got out, going for her bags to help increase his tip. Dixie was too shy to ask him not to, as the grease on his fingers that he’d used to wipe his nose during the trip did not appeal to her touching her things, so she just looked downwards and got out without a word.

The driver set her bags on the steps of the mansion and mumbled her fare, causing Dixie to look through her purse in a flustered fashion. ”A course, um…,” she pulled out the fare plus a $10, handing it to him, unsure if that was right. He seemed pleased though, pocketing the cash and walking off back to his vehicle. She watched him for a moment, eyes wide and curious as to what she should do next. Now she was here she supposed. So… knock? Ring a doorbell? Yes, that would be the polite thing to do.

Clearing her throat once again, Dixie approached the front door and began searching all around it for a button to push. Ah! There was one. She let her finger hover in front of it for several seconds before pushing it inward, jumping noticeably at the bell sound that rang out. She took a few steps backwards and tripped over her belongings, sliding back down the steps and landing on her rear on the drive. She turned beet red , sitting with her legs in a V in front of her and hands having skidded and caught herself from behind, leaving her looking rather silly. She scrambled to right herself, thinking of the humiliation if anyone had possibly seen her spill. Though the few scratches on her palms and a dirt streak on the side of her dress bespoke of a fall either way.
I'm here!
Fallon found it interesting he had been making his own coffee, too bad it he had gotten distracted. What he had made might have been better than what she’d already had that morning if he hadn’t burnt his. ”Oh okay,”Fallon said, moving slightly so he could get past her to go to the dumpster when he said he had to throw the stuff away, embarrassed blush still on her cheeks. Great way to make friends, Fallon. Go around telling people they smell.. As she was thinking to herself though, the boy introduced himself and his daemon, making Fallon feel a lot more comfortable and smiling. She was about to return the gesture when he ran off to go throw away his burnt coffee, making Fallon laugh a little under her breath as she pulled Iris off her shoulders and held her curled up in her arms.

”He seems awfully flighty,”Iris purred aloud, making Fallon shush her when the guy came running back. Well, at least he hadn’t made an excuse and then just ran off leaving her standing there. That probably would have hurt her feelings a bit. But he came back hands free of the burnt coffee and no longer smelling so. ”My name is Fallon, and this is Iris, my daemon,” she said, petting the black cat with large green eyes who was staring at Kasai. ”It’s nice to meet you Alex. And Kas,” Fallon giggled, thinking the daemon was very pretty and wanted to pet him honestly though she refrained, despite her eyes lingering on him. If it was up to her, she’d have a veritable zoo of fluffy, adorable daemons she could cuddle with all day.

”Um, I think this way was where I went before to get coffee,” she said, having already forgotten exactly the layout of the place since she’d been exploring. It was so much to remember! But she headed off in the right direction and got in line as she talked to Alex some more. ”So, are you a first year like me?” she asked meekly, secretly hoping he wasn’t. Perhaps he could show her the ropes so to say, as she had yet to really meet anyone else. Maybe he even had friends she could be introduced to as well. all the while, Iris laid lazily in her arms, tail swinging this way and that in a bored fashion.

I know! Looks like we have the same taste in RPs. Next time I'm in one looking for more people I'll pm ya.
I don't mind a uneven number of males & females, as long as it's close! Like, only 1 or 2 off or something.

I kind of like the idea of #1. I think a slice of life for the most part would be fun, but big issues to break up any monotony. Like the occasional brush with danger and possible death to bring everyone together now and again. Maybe that's somewhere between 1 & 2? Idk.
Faris was huffing in annoyance when her eyes fell on a… talking skeleton? What the hell? She looked utterly freaked out and took a few steps in the direction away from whatever that freaky thing was, until Erin spoke up in response to her previous question, and Faris simply scoffed. She had no idea how all this god stuff worked. For all she had known, Erin had brought them down to her ‘father’s domain’ and was there as a sort of ring leader to make them dance their way back to the surface for her enjoyment. But whatever, maybe she was thick headed about this stuff. Better to just keep quiet then and let the others figure things out, and then escape when she had the chance. ”I’ll just kick your ass later,” she mumbled about Erin, figuring the girl might be important until they escaped where ever they were. But once her usefulness was over, she was going down. She also barely noticed Thane’s change in appearance, having thought him freaky already with his weird arm. Now his hair was white and his eyes black? Only freakier. More reason not to look.

Ah, Grandpa Connor was here. Joy. Although, his old person ways may help them here? Who knows. Do we have any idea which god or goddess found it incredibly hilarious to drag us to a sandy pit? Faris frowned, not remembering that kid, but she continued to keep quiet. After all, she only knew a few god and goddess names, and relatively nothing about them.

Faris took to sitting down, bored, as Erin prattled on various God Facts. Faris would have done well to listen and learn a thing or two. But geez this crap was boring. She sighed, drawing in the dirt a picture of herself spearing little stick figures, until Creampuff spoke up. We are the game. Except there’s no winning, only losing. We lose, we lose our lives… We survive, the next round of the game begins, until they lose interest in us. Faris smirked, secretly loving the idea. This was so not boring. She stood once more, brushing herself off as another chick she hadn’t seen before spoke up and said this wasn’t stopping until a God or Goddess noticed they were gone. Fighting and partying too eh?

”This girl… this girl I like,” Faris grinned, pointing at the girl with the flask. Whatever cabin she was in, Faris was allying with her when they got back. ”Way to waste booze, Jack,” Faris said to the stupid skeleton, not knowing that was indeed the boy’s name. He just reminded her of Jack Skellington and the nickname had slipped out.

”Okay so, let’s just survive until we’re rescued right? How hard can that really be?” she said naively, getting herself mentally pumped, one hand on her hip.
Daily looked with interest as Murry mentioned explosives, enjoying the thought of seeing ETs blown away, flying dead this way and that. It brought a small evil smile to her visage for a brief moment. Her attention was brought back when Mark said her name, looking over at him as he pointed to her and said another girl had yet to be there. ”Then I say she’s out. I don’t have time to deal with people who are late. You’re late for a mission, I can’t count on you by my side in the mix of things,” she said with a frown, her dark eyebrows knitting together and clashing with her light hair. When Mark said they got to ‘blow the place to shit’ though the smile returned to her face. Though she looked confused slightly when he asked them to guess where a safe zone was that the ETs wouldn’t think to look at. She had no idea. She wasn’t really the thinking type until she was in the fray. Once someone gave her a direction she was fighting and bullying her way into where ever she was needed, getting things done. But planning had never been her strong suit. Especially when she was just a tad drunk.

Her attention was taken by Todd who made her crack up laughing in his spiel for some reason. Especially when he said ‘I mean you damn it’. It just made her giggle more, cheeks turning red. She coughed though and took a deep breath to regain her sense of awareness. She raised an eyebrow when Beau asked that she ease up on the alcohol, looking like he was crazy. ”Yeah, how about I’ll do what I want,” she grinned, having already put away her bottle anyway. These people had no idea about her did they? She would never jeopardize a mission. That would get her killed. And she always looked out for number one.

She listened with a concentrated frown as Fruitcup laid out a plan in the dirt. ”I have no plans so… that works for me,” she shrugged, looking to Mark and Beau for approval.
