Eden nodded to ‘Mute’ when he was introduced, finding him rather boring already if he was indeed mute. Wouldn’t surprise her since she hadn’t notice him say anything yet. ”Egos lead to mistakes,” she whispered to herself after Booker’s comment, listening still as he spoke about how he wanted to make them into a group of thieves and make them very rich. Raising a brow her eyes flickered to the screen where a museum popped up. Hmmm… she’d mainly only stolen from private citizens… this would be different. Interesting.

In the meantime, she shrugged at Nessie. ”I don’t mind working with you on it,” she said, not looking particularly perturbed about anything as she spoke, though she found it odd the girl would donate her share. What a goody too shoes.

Her attention was rapt to Nora when the girl began listing off random information, which Eden retained most of, though honestly she’d have preferred to have it written down. Then Nessie added her thoughts. Eden had to admit this little, hacker thing was getting annoying.

Another rather rough looking guy was led in. Eden watched him curiously, as he seemed different from most of the others, but still, she knew she should be paying attention to Booker, so she forced her eyes away from the man’s bruises and to Booker flapping lips, babbling about the museum. ”Client?” Eden said with an edge to her voice. They were working for someone other than themselves? She hadn’t expected that. She’d honestly saw the museum pop up and thought they were pulling some grand heist. Granted, she didn’t want to responsibility of selling off the items while being untraceable, but still, it irked her to do a thievery for a client. ”Who is it? she asked, interested obviously. And of course, if there was a gala, it would seem she’d be playing the part of an invited guest and deterring attention to another part of the museum away from the dagger while it was taken. At least she assumed.

Eden laughed as Nessie chewed out the other girl, grinning over the edge of her glass when she finally calmed down and of all people, turned to her and asked if she could teach her. Drinking the final sip, Eden set the glass on a nearby table and nodded. ”Sure but it seems like the opposite of what you do. Isn’t what you do all about not being found out and making as little ripples in the pond as possible? Because diversion is hiding what you’re doing under a mask of deception or even chaos, rarely stealth,” she shrugged, watching the girl.

Of course, it’s not like Nessie got to answer as some idiot walked in loud and cursing. How stupid. Eden rolled her eyes and sighed, hoping there were at least some relatively normal members of this… thieves inc. thing. ”She can ask any question she wants to. Get over yourself,” Eden said, not even looking at the blonde when he spoke, as she would have said the same thing as Nora if she hadn’t gotten to the question first. ”So many egos, Booker. You sure know how to pick them,” she said, flashing their ‘leader’ a bit of a smirk.
Evelyn’s gaze left Mithias as he went to sit, while instead she motioned at William. ”Come on then. I’ll show you to the library. Bring a glass for the girl with you. We’ll find her and talk. Kaley you may join as well for this… tour I suppose,” Evelyn said in a calm, still voice, hand reaching towards William. Though if he got close enough, she would let it drop. Leaving the dining hall, the young vampiress moved into the hallway and observed Angel crumpled into a mess on the floor. Ah, so she wasn’t as lady like as she had seemed. So much emotion. It was not something Evelyn had ever really connected with or understood. It took all her energy just to put up with the erratic nature of everyone else. She couldn’t imagine if she were like them as well.

Moving to the girl, Evelyn leaned down and brushed her hair from her face in a very motherly sort of way. ”Dear, the blood was not taken from people killed to feed you. I promise. You don’t have to eat now, but I do think you must be reasonable about this, honestly,” she said softly but firmly. Patting the girl’s head she then stood and moved throughout the castle, pointing out various rooms, letting them know that any besides those of her, Mithias, Viorica, and Christof’s bedrooms were open for their taking, pointing out whose room was whose in the process so there would be no mistake. She finally did reach the library, her favorite room. Opening the great oak doors, she turned back and her eyes flashed dangerously. ”But get a single drop of blood on any page, and I’ll know. And there will be punishment,” she said, one of the first times she’d shown passion about anything since the fledglings arrival. And with that, she moved back away, headed in the direction of the dining room once more.
