Mira was waiting on an answer from Kat, eyes looking at the girl questioningly behind her sunglasses when a man walked up. He was relatively tall with brown hair and Mira smiled just slightly, shaking her head. "Nope. Don't know anyone here. And haven't noticed an Andrew," she said, finishing off her drink and scratching the side of her head. She sighed, setting the glass down and looking a bit bored. Her shoulders hunched slightly when she turned away from Kat to look around the bar, causing her shirt to fall further down her arm though she didn't seem to notice.

Curse of the Beast

Mira watched as another girl walked up. She looked like the shy girl type. Good too shoes. How annoying… Oh well. At least she was friendly. ”I’m Mira. Guess it’s best to know our fellow meals,” she smirked bitterly, considering where they were to be headed. She looked over as a cheerful and very proper sounding voice rang out, a blonde man who was way overdressed for everything in Mira’s opinion.

He asked their names and the creepy drawer girl just held up her sketchbook. Mira craned her neck to read ‘Ali’ and then looked back to the butler. ”I’m Mira,” she mumbled, crossing her arms under her chest and yawning, looking particularly bored.

Personality: Hailey is the type of girl that is willing to be friends with anyone. From the ditziest cheerleader, to the most depressed goth, to the geekiest nerd. She doesn’t really fit into any particular clique anyway. She is a bit flighty, and believes everything happens for a reason. She is a big believer in fate, the supernatural, and feelings. She is fascinated by astrology and fortune telling and what not, and enjoys history more than any other subject in school, besides art. She hopes to go to an art college and be a famous painter one day, in between her time as a ghost hunter. She has a dream journal she carries around school in case she falls asleep in class and has a dream she has to write it down. A lot of people think she’s weird and an airhead, but she’s not dumb, making A’s and B’s. She is also particularly clumsy, and horrible at sports. She also has an affinity for sweets, and refuses to eat meat.

History: Hailey lives on a farm with her mother and father. Her mother is a stay at home mom to her many siblings (all younger than Hailey) and her father is a farmer. Hailey grew up rather poor, but never minded. She also helped where she could on the farm though her father never let her much. Her fathers crops were the ones Rick ran through when he was drunk driving. Hailey's dad was always a forgiving man who believed in the common man over the government, so he let the boy go with the promise he'd pay for his mistake and fix the fence. Hailey recognized Rick from school, though she was pretty sure she was invisible to him. While he was working, she did go outside and talk to him about school and life, bring him lemonade and compliment his work on the fence. She was the one who invited him to the Brazil trip anyway, figuring he needed the vacation too after all he'd been through so far. She definitely has a crush on him, but she isn't the type to make any first moves.

Personality: Elia is a peaceful being. There was a point in her years where she grew angry after her father’s death and her subsequent kidnapping, where she began drowning anyone who hurt innocent water life in her own judgment. But, killing is not in her nature. And she quickly went back to her calm sense of being. She is a romantic and affectionate, but also passionate and prone to emotional outbursts when pushed too far. She is, in general, caring and kind, calm and serene. She is honest, but with a jealous streak, and not the most modest of girls. She is playful while also dismissing overly immature behavior. Confident, self-reliant, and a bit selfish, she has learned one must take care of themselves and like themselves in order for anyone else to appreciate them.

Fear(s): Being confined, being somewhere without water like a desert, being kidnapped

Ability: Ageless, but not immortal (as long as she is not killed, she remains the same, and heals from non-life threatening wounds in time), Enhanced condition (peak physical and mental condition for her species), Able to become water when water is present (for example, her body can dissolve into water when in a body of water, but not when she’s walking around on dry land with none near), Water Teleportation (when within a body of water, she can teleport to another if connected in some way- could allow her to move through plumbing, etc), Ability to control water when it is present

Short History: Elia was born of a water nymph and a centaur. She grew up in the Mediterranean area of the world, but of course grew bored of being confined to one area of such a vast planet. She has explored various bodies of water in her time, and had quite a few close calls, what with motor boats and fishing nets. She’s always escaped though. Oh, except that one time. She was captured once and held with just enough water to keep her living. It was a terrible experience she never wishes to relive. The man who had caught her had an infatuation with the supernatural and had found her when she was being too careless at a creek near his home. Since then, she’s always been more careful, scared of being without water again. She has many sisters, and her mother is still living though her father is not. She will contact her family now and again, but not regularly.
