Evelyn looked at William strangely as he exited to the library, finding his sudden urge to be apart from the rest of them odd. But then again, he’d seemed odd from the beginning. So she just brushed it off. Her eyes instead watched Mitchell leave the room, and then Kaley who walked up to her. She seemed to actually care that Viorica was gone. Whether it was for her own self-preservation or not, Evelyn admired it more than a trip to the library.

”Honestly I’m not a detective. I’m not sure what has happened to Viorica or what we can do about it besides hope to find a clue and find her. I would hope it would be done for me, so I would do no less for her,” Evelyn said in an even tone, having calmed herself, and just appearing logical now, and calm.

”But yes we have to look for her and help her. I’m sure she was taken by someone, I’m just not sure whom. Come, you too, Angel,” Evelyn said gently, nodding to the two girls and leading them up to Viorica’s room so they could see for themselves. When they arrived, Evelyn simply stood in the doorway, noticing Mitchell and Mithias speaking, and after all, she’d already seen the scene.

Just a head's up- I will hardly be on tomorrow I think, and probably won't be on at all the day after. After that, I'll be back 100% but ya know, holidays and all that. :) Those who will be online- feel free to post & keep the story going. Oh, and happy early Thanksgiving!
Wren’s light fingers picked up a turkey leg, turning it over in her hand before beginning to gnaw on it with sharp teeth and pink lips. Her hazel eyes glanced ahead of her to the table where the Bear and Stag sat near the queen, before pulling back the meat from bone, chewing it lazily while the men around her spoke. Most near her were speaking of political alliances, how things were going to change, what they truly thought of the queen. Chewing & swallowing the wad of meat, Wren looked behind her, seeing the rougher men chatting up their harlots with overly embellished tales of blood and gore. She smirked a bit at that, finding the scene rather amusing. The way the girls giggled and seemed fascinated, but would only put out at a price. It was like a game, an act.

Still smirking a bit, Wren pushed some blonde strands of hair from her cheeks, looking towards the Bear as he stood and began a speech. The longer he spoke, the more serious her gaze became. She knew she had no reason to dislike Gnarl, and yet there was something about him that just irked her. It wasn’t fair, but she wasn’t one to ignore her emotions. She stomped and let out a yea with the others at the appropriate times, but her facial expression remained the same, simply watching until he bowed before the queen and everyone went back to what they were doing. Wren just kept watching Gnarl, drinking a goblet of wine swiftly and leaving the table as the singing began. She went out by the fire and drank a bit more, but when that became crowded, she turned to leave it too. She was called back to it by some of the men but she smiled and waved them off, telling them to get some sleep, to which they called her a name or two and caused her to laugh with them. She smiled to herself, sleepy and hoping the buzz in her mind would lull her to a dreamless sleep. She barely got into her night gown, which was just one of her father’s old shirts, before crawling under a blanket and falling asleep quickly. The sound of men shouting and smell of fires and dirt like home.
Wren snorted awake, her delicate face looking contorted and sleepy as Gnarl yelled. Groaning from the sudden wake up call, she rubbed her eyes, slapping her cheeks, and sitting up. She yawned, running a hand through her locks and crawling from the covers, before dressing appropriately and beginning to follow in the direction Gnarl had gone. Ahead of her were a few of the others already, but Joachim began hanging back as if waiting for her. She gave him a slight eyebrow raise, but said nothing about it, as he rarely bothered her at all and she could relax around him a bit more than some of the others. She knew she should say something, but she just wasn’t as good at making conversation anymore. Perhaps because she found it harder to care.

”Morning,” she spoke. Her voice was soft and kind, not one that matched the hardened shell she displayed. No one had pissed her off yet today, and so she stood quietly when reaching Gnarl, awaiting his words.

I planed on separating Eve/David by post after their intro, so I'll probably do a post of his walk to the hotel and talking with Hailey and Richard soon. If you want to do a collab let me know.

The Hacker was in her room, petting a little robotic cat she’d made years ago out of spare parts. It sat near her keyboard, before walking across it. ”Gah, Tak, seriously?” she scolded playfully, giggling in a little bit of a maddened tone. Her soft brown eyes glanced up to see the screen that had changed thanks to the cat, as her monitors would occasionally display the security cameras of Hark. She’d hacked into their network a couple years ago as well, and now had limited access to what they did. She made her presence quiet though, and had yet to be detected.

Her gaze rested on this screen, taking in the sight of what appeared to be a rather clunky, old android hitting the ground and glass falling all around him. Her lips parted softly, and excitement rose from within her. He was malfunctioning. And how old could he possibly be? The thoughts began to race in her mind and she bounced a little like a child before licking her lips. She turned her focus to how to get him to safety, if she even could. She looked again at the area he was in, and chewed her lip as she determined which screens she needed. Her fingers began tapping rapidly at keys, pushing her hood back and revealing her unaged face. Gemma began connected to a small bus ad right in front of the machine, flashing a message. *GET OUT OF THE CITY. I WILL FIND YOU* it read. She flashed it twice before letting the ad go back to normal, not wanting any humans to see it. She knew from what she’d seen over the years there were humans who sympathized with their cause, but they were almost always killed. She’d seen it happen, and she wasn’t about to put any people in danger she didn’t have to.
